Wow, this was our first time stopping at a Buc-ee's and it was pretty amazing for a gas station…read more They have TONS of gas pumps, so zero waiting. Their bathrooms are spotless. Shopping was very fun! We bought T-shirts for the family, hats, magnets and a variety of other things. Best of all was the food. We tried the brisket sandwich and Carolina pulled pork sandwich, along with some Beaver chips (homemade potato chips). We bought fudge to go and it was the best fudge I've ever eaten. The jerky selection was next-level and the jerky we tried was amazing. I really wish we had one closer to home but at least we have one in our home state of Arizona now.

O-Kay Buc-ees show me what you've got…read more Me, one hour later: "holy hell". It's a touristy gift shop, with some specialty items, lots of buc-ees branded merch, convenience store style hot food items, coffee, stuff for your car, your pets and you, your kids, your sweetie. I'm not sure if it's a mini mall, an expanded truck stop convenience store, or a glaring testament to consumerism. What makes it different from the usual convenience store might be the bbq cutting station with periodic group shouts from the guys working that area. I have no idea what they were saying, but it happened pretty regularly and you could hear it all over the store. And let's talk about the fudge station. Oh yes .... Winner on that. Still, it's a convenience store, a couple of steps above the norm, but once you get beyond the circus-y vibe, it's an experience that leaves me with the meh mindset for a repeat. Except maybe for that fudge and the people working the checkout counters ...

This store is now staffed by Indians (that's not a problem, I don't know if the new owners are…read moreIndian) What I do know is they never acknowledge me or speak. If I say, "Good morning!" they refuse to speak. I only notice this behavior toward certain people (I am African American and have been a Central Park resident for sixteen years, I moved here when it was called Stapleton) initially I thought perhaps they did not hear me, though I was clearly standing right in front of them. (I gave them all types of excuses) and then I decided to just observe. Sure enough white and non-black customers were greeted politely. I AM FURIOUS! Their prejudice, disrespectful behavior is not welcome nor representative of the people of this community who have been welcoming and kind to me and my family since we moved here in 2009. This store and the Indian people who work in it are a terrible stain on our community. I refuse to shop there or buy gas anymore. So insulting! They don't deserve even one star.

Horrible customer service. The black lady who checked me out having no name tag challenged me when…read moreshe informed me of charging extra for coffee cups. I had no issue with that until she says "if you have a problem with that you can talk to my manager" I had multiple items and she did not offer a bag and was already cutting me up saying "next" to the next customer in line. In addition she tells her coworker that she has no problem denying service to anyone. "Saying, you know me that I would have no problem refusing service" This job is not for her. We pay for items in addition to their service. Why should we be treated this way? If I could I would not give them any stars.

And with my recent visit these are the two fools are the reason I'm writing this review. I founded them to be very rude and when I came to my mom scanning her food items. Treating her like she trying to steal, but she wasn't and didn't like how she scanned her items and putting them in bags. Like my mom scanned one pineapple first then proceeded with other she just didn't forgot to scan the second pineapple that we picked and was bit on her ass about it. Though she did soon scan soon when that came to her attention her attention. That added a lay these two employees I felt this bad energy coming from these people exchanging serious glances. Plus it's not like these people get paid enough their job is not that important In fact my mom has been going through a rough time and lots of stress this summer losing her job along with is recovering from a deadly blood cancer diagnosis With getting back into shopping stores can be a bit stressful and hectic, especially when she's have been in a hospital bed for little over year ago. My mom and I really didn't feel great after the visit.

The store lacked a lot of options for snacks, the chip aisle was loaded with boxes and vendors stocking stuff in the middle of the day, and to top it off, the management was pretty blunt with us like we ruined his day stocking vegetables. At least they have a solid meat section, shame it is just too far from the Mausoleum.
