She was so amazing during my wedding planning process, she always had ideas or words of encouragement for me when I would message her all stressed out or even when she just checked in to see how things were going (which she did frequently during the two years I planned!). The day of my wedding she was there, she quickly knew everyone's names and who they were (vendors, wedding party, and family members) which made the day much easier. With a wedding party of 16 she really had to corral us often but she did and always got the shot. Obviously in hiring these guys I'd viewed countless trailer videos online, but seeing their cinematic camera work and insightful editing eye applied to our day was absolutely breathtaking. There are not enough flattering adjectives in the dictionary to describe how we feel about this video. I am confident that our children's children will watch it and feel a tugging on their heart strings for how in love their grandparents were. That was before we spent three hours together browsing through Sky Focus's blog and watching the assortment of beautiful, high-quality, tear-jerking wedding videos of total and complete strangers. Of course, Matt changed his mind and there we were, all set up with Sky Focus for our wedding day videography. Fast forward a few months and we're preparing for a family vacation of fourteen of us in the Dominican Republic. We were trying to figure out the perfect Christmas gift for my elderly grandparents, when I remembered Sky Focus's "Honeymoon" package. Essentially, Sky Focus supplies you with an HD Go Pro, you take it on your honeymoon, take the footage of a lifetime, and give it back to Sky Focus to edit. Then, voila, an amazing honeymoon documentary. We decided this was the perfect idea for our family trip, and Sky Focus was all for it. After a week of taking so-so footage, we were apprehensive about how our video would turn out. Well, we were wrong. Chris turned the video around in less than a week and it was no less magical than any of his gorgeous wedding videos. Without any suggestions from us, he nailed the music, the vibe, the sentiment, and everything good there was to be had on our family vacation. One family member was missing from the film and I let Chris know--my fault, since I didn't give him a "family list" of people to make sure were included. Within three hours he had that family member smoothly fit into the video like it had been there all along. I cannot say enough about Sky Focus's raw, artistic talent, dedication, and ability to story tell with few words. After this, we are more excited than ever for our wedding film. If he can make something so wonderful out of such mediocre footage (that we, unsophisticated, wobbly, awkward videographers took) we have no doubt about our big day. Highly, highly recommend.

Shoddy work by Kirk…read more My mistake, I guess, to think that for the price I paid I would get a little personalization on the DVDs and Menu pages, and maybe the 30 minutes of blank tape cut off before the final processing. I dropped off 2 VHS home videos and asked for a transfer to DVD for christmas presents. He charged me $40, a little steep but I was sure it would be worth it. I assumed he would follow up with questions as to what I would like on the DVD labels, and menu screen. The final product isn't worth the price I paid. Next time I will be going through imemories.com or a similar website, so that I can make quality gifts out of our home videos.
