This was my third time at this new shop and I know that this place will become my regular shop There is a wide variety of services along with a basic haircut, shaves, facial massages, etc. I try to come mid-day and during the week as they tend to get very busy here. They are very through here and what I think should take 15 minutes always takes 30-45 minutes for the compete "hair-cut" experience. It's obvious from the many 5 star reviews they people are happy here. Not sure about the 1-3 star ratings but I feel (along with many others) that 5 stars are warranted. I've been wanting to try this place for quite sometime but with the Covid shutdown and then the tight rules after it wasn't happening. As restrictions eased and we started looking like we'd been trapped in the island with Tom Hanks and Wilson, the time had come to go. So Saturday morning the three of us drove over not knowing what to expect. Walking in we were greeted by all the staff and were very pleased to find there was an empty chair right away. Not wanting him to feel neglected, we tossed my son out there and had him be the first in the chair. My Brother was next to go and before I could enjoy the soft leather of the waiting area's chairs, I was up and sitting in one of the coolest barber chairs I'd ever sat in. Now I'm not a small guy, I stand 6'5" and am pushing nearly 380 but I was quite comfortable in this chair. My barber was Arian and I've seen him in a few of the posts on Instagram. Really like what I've already seen. I explained that I've been basically buzzing my hair myself for quite sometime but along with a beard shaping to a goatee and a shave, that I was looking to change things up. I told him I trust his judgement and away we went. I could not have been happier with the results!! The cut my son got was truly spot on. And though he pretty much got the same style that he's had for years it was done with such precision that he looked totally different. Sharper. Better than his old place by leaps and bounds. My Brother explained that he's had the same style for over 30 years and wanted something different. What he got floored us all! The ladies back home spent the day complimenting his new look and he was pretty happy with it. So all in all this was an amazing experience for us all. The decor is awesome and just keep looking around at what you may spot. I especially liked the poster of Michael Caine from the film "Get Carter" hanging up high! Prices were quite decent especially for the quality of work these artists performed on us. We will be returning and if you've read this far, I recommend you give them a try as well. However, my only complaint for the staff is that they don't follow directions properly or carefully. They even ask me if they want any part of my face to be waxed. Ever since this incident occurred, it's been getting a little annoying. The flyer doesn't even tell you how much the waxing is going to cost per part (and that's how they get you) of the face but most likely it's $15-$20. Also, I asked them nicely to trim my hair only on the sides and DO NOT trim on the top and what do they do? They trimmed the top. I wanted to keep my curls on the top because my girlfriend loves them and I do too, but I guess maybe I wasn't clear to them or they couldn't understand English very well. They do this several times, but I can't complain because my hair is at least clean, but I didn't get the haircut that I asked for for months to come:/ They need to get their act together... or I might find another barber.
