Recently got my hair cut at A Barber Shop, and Leslie did a great job! I was so pleased with my shorter look. She was fast and efficient, yet thorough, and checked all the lengths to make sure I was not lop-sided before she was through. The price was very reasonable as well! I recommended that shop to my dad and he got his hair done as well, and was quite pleased with the end result. He lives in Kansas but always wants to get his hair cut here when visiting. He used to ask each time but now we just automatically plan for him to go. Husband also gets his hair cut there and loves it that Bodie will grab the clippers and go to town on his cowlicks with the number 4 attachment as requested, does a great job with that and no more Alfalfa! Absolutely the worst hair cut experience I've ever had and that says a lot considering I'm over 60. Told Jim that hair on top was already somewhat thinning and to please just thin the sides and back. Paying no attention, he grabbed a handful on top and whacked it off with his electric shears in the blink of an eye. When I protested, he said "it'll grow back". When he did the back, he gouged my neck with the same electric clippers and when I told him there was something sharp on them, he said "that's the blade... I just sharpened it". When I got home and looked in the mirror, I found red scrapes on my neck. Can't call him a butcher out of respect for the meat cutting industry but it's time for Jim to retire or maybe change jobs to shearing sheep instead. read more
