After calling several different companies, Pam sold me on her Mickey Mouse. She described the activities that Mickey would lead the children through, told me that Mickey would speak to the kids, and assured me that Mickey could engage a group of kids under 5 years old. On the day of my party, Mickey started late, could barely see out of the costume, was inaudible, and completely unable to engage the children. When I look back at the video footage, I get even angrier at the lack of energy that Mickey displayed at my son's birthday. Mickey didn't even stay for the full hour. The children were bored and uninterested. To make matters worse, Pam called me the night before the party to see if MY husband could buy batteries for HER stereo. A Bash Entertainment provides a great service! The day before my mom's birthday, I called them up and immediately was talking to Pam. She was kind and friendly and very up front and honest about what to expect from each type of performance (e.g. dancing chicken versus Elvis or Marilyn Monroe) as well as the anticipated performance time and cost. Since my mom loves Elvis, we decided to have her be serenaded by the King himself! Not only was Pam able to set up the appointment for the next day (I called less than 24 hours in advance), but also she made sure that everything was prepared for a spectacular performance! She called up on of her several Elvis performers and scheduled the show as I was on the phone! After scheduling, I was able to give a list of song requests to Pam for Elvis to sing. Later that evening, Pam was kind enough to follow up and say that while Elvis didn't know a couple of the songs (e.g. my mom loves Guadalajara...a song Elvis covered in a movie once...but definitely an odd song that, considering Elvis' body of work, an entertainer couldn't be expected to know), but otherwise all the favorites were a go! The cost for the performance was $185 (plus an optional 20% tip) for a 30 minute performance and I paid Elvis in cash after the performance (I really liked this fact because I was taking a gamble that he would be good--so at least I was comforted that I could choose not to pay the full price if I was unsatisfied with the performance). Our Elvis was Greg Winston (http://www.texaselvisimpersonator.com/). He called me the morning of the performance to confirm the time, and kept me abreast of his traffic situation (at first I was running late and then Greg ran into some traffic, but we kept each other up-to-date via the cellphone). With a good deal of sneakiness of my part, I managed to get Greg into the house and all set up without my mom suspecting anything (she was in the other room watching TV). Greg came fully prepared, with a full stereo system set (controls, laptop for the music source, and speakers) and was able to set it up by himself (although I did offer to help carry things in). While he did not arrive fully in costume, once he changed, Greg really did look like the King! The performance was more than I had hoped for--my mother was flabbergasted and ecstatic at the idea of being serenaded by Elvis and Elvis' vocal talents were excellent. Although not a 100% match for the King, Greg certainly could do justice to some of Elvis' best songs (Blue Hawaii, Are You Lonesome Tonight?, Blue Christmas, Don't Be Cruel, Love Me Tender, (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear, and All Shook Up among others). It was a wonderful experience and a birthday that my mom will remember forever! I'm sure all the other Elvis impersonators at A Bash Entertainment are good as well, but if you're going for Elvis, definitely ask for Greg! Overall, I am extremely pleased by the service received (especially because it was so great and I hadn't checked out the company or read any reviews beforehand) and would not hesitate to use A Bash Entertainment again for any singing telegram needs! read more

I rarely write reviews and when I do, it's usually only about positive experiences but I am so upset with his company I had to share! This company is extremely unprofessional! I called a month in advance to schedule and was assured they were available but asked to submit the request online so I did along with all my contact info. I then called multiple times to confirm because I did not get any written confirmation. Just days before I called again to confirm and a man answered the phone and told me he would confirm and let me know. I then received a text back saying she can't do it because she worked a kid's birthday party and lost her voice. I told her that was extremely unprofessional to text and she should have had someone else call to tell me especially with this short of notice and she just responded saying that she couldn't because she lost her voice. If someone was able to answer my call when I called to confirm, I don't see why he couldn't have called me. She told me she had texted me earlier but I must not have received it. I understand things harken happen and people get sick and have to cancel but to cancel via text message when she had my phone number and email from my online submission is extremely unprofessional - if you need to cancel you should do everything in your power to make sure your customer gets the messsge and NEVER text without the customer's permission to do so! read more

FANTASTIC "Bag Lady" for a surprise birthday party. Pam was amazing!! Gave Pam a few "facts" about birthday boy and she wrote a skit that had us all rolling over laughing. I wanted to go less but 1 star it is. I tentatively booked characters for my daughters 4th birthday in December and I let the nice lady know I needed to confirm a few things and I would call her back. I called back this morning 11/12/18 and spoke with a not so nice man to explain my changes and have them quote me for less time. After attempting in very slow and easy instructions, the guy told me I was going to fats and I was being rude. I was being a nice and what I thought very easy customer up until he started to become an ass for no reason. I am taking time out of my work day to call a company and give them business and this is how I am treated. I let the guy know that I have no time for his attitude an that clearly my business nor my money would be good enough for him. I let him know that I wanted to cancel and not worry about it. He continued to yell at me on the phone so I hung up on him. CALL AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! If you have been in business this long, I would think you would understand customer service, especially with new potential long-term clients. You can be sure that you wont get my business and I will be more than happy to pass on the word to a lot of folks that your customer skills need some work and I for one couldn't trust anyone who acts like a damn fool on the phone to prospective business. read more

I used Abash for a surprise for my Boss's birthday at our office and it went great! He is a big 80's music fan so we got one of their employees to come in dressed in 80's attire and sang some of his favorite tunes.
