Bead selection of Japanese seed beads could be improved. The store is jam packed with product of various quality. The store clerk knows what is there and if you are looking for something special you will have to ask as the organization is somewhat haphazard. The clerk is friendly enough but is not one of those bead people who is in tune to what is going on in the bead world. New beads if available, will be months after other stores if ever. But the biggest drawback is almost no classes and no acceptable space for classes or groups to gather. Prices higher than average for the same item. read more

Wonderful manager who is so helpful and attentive. I love their selection of gemstone, pearls and seed beads. There's something for every level of beader, stringer, bead weaver, bead loomer, or kumihimo fan. They have competitive prices and are open 5 days a week so I can shop anytime. read more

The Lady at the shop was very nice and freely gave you information about what you asked. Nice selection of merchandise and have classes at reasonable prices. Closed on Sunday's and Tuesday's until 1 PM. read more

My favorite bead shop- I'm there at least once a week. I really enjoy the company of Michele, the stores manager and Debby who is one of their teachers. Both are very knowledgeable and will offer advice on your selection and color combinations The beads range from strands of sem-precious, Swarovski and glass crystals, fresh water, cultured, and glass pearls, and glass beads (some vintage!). Seed beads ranging from 11/0 to 6/0. Kumihimo supplies which are not available anywhere else in our county. Many, many beads are available for single qty purchase, not to mention a lot of semi-precious stones, as well. They have silver plate, sterling silver, gold plate, gold filled, copper, and base metal findings, so they can meet anyones budget. I've seen classes offered in stringing, earrings, beading, macrame, and kumihimo, and recently also chain maile. It's my first place to look for jewelry making tools, too. oh, and they offer some sterling silver and semi-prec. jewelry pendents, rings, and broaches for sale.
