Do Not send your child to this daycare!! My son went to this "school" for roughly 2 weeks when he…read morewas 3 years old. It was right down the street from our home so I called and got him enrolled. Big mistake, huge. They scheduled a time that my husband and I could visit the school during the day and see the teachers, kids etc. well they called and had to reschedule. They did this a few times, using the fact that the covid epidemic was making it unsafe for us to see the daycare. This was in 2022 in January. At the time it threw me off but the world was opening back up and I made the excuse in my head that they were simply keeping the kids/teachers safe. Fast forward and I go to drop him off his first day, ever he had never been to a daycare or left my side in his 3 years being a "covid baby" I as any parent was terrified leaving him the first day. We get to the door and a teacher is standing there and takes his hand, and tells me parents aren't allowed inside for health reasons. I felt very uneasy, I mean I never even saw the room he'd be in, or met an actual teacher, only the director. She takes him inside door closed and locked. They sent me pictures throughout the day, which was all of 2 hours. I see him sitting at a table by himself, don't think too much of it. The next few days goes by and he went 3 days a week and pictures were sent to me via text message and he was always at a table. He did seem incredibly happy to see me at pickup and he seemed very reserved the short time I sent him there. My mom's intuition kicked in and I pulled him out after going maybe a total of 10 days throughout a three week period. My son was excited to go, and it was the best experience ever. I worked as a daycare teacher for milestones for 3 years, I knew something was very off about north shore preschool. A few months into him attending his new school he started communicating better, and that's when I heard the stories from him. 3 years later he still will tell me stories out of nowhere about the awful things and the the terrible teachers.The teachers were constantly yelling at the children, snapping on them for doing what kids do. A little boy made a huge mess one day and one of the teachers got in my son's face and went ballistic on him telling him to clean the mess up. He told her he didn't make the mess. He was at his table. This enraged her, and my son explained she was yelling and screaming at him and forced him to clean up the entire room for talking back to her. My son at that age, was a happy guy, he would make messes like every other kid does, but he was always good about cleaning up when he was done. The stories are all very similar. A lot of yelling at kids all day, over things like not wanting to eat the snack they were offered.He told me once that he was yelled at for not cleaning up, the only story he told me about at that time. I called the school asap and told them he'd never return. Told the director that he had been yelled at and in all my time working as a daycare teacher, never once did any single teacher raise their voice at any child of any age. She quickly apologized, and refunded me the money we had given them. She didn't ask me questions. She just wanted me gone and did what was necessary to get me to go away essentially. I was shocked that she wasn't concerned about the fact that the kiddos were being yelled at, or the way my son was for the rest of the day after being there for a short period of time. Why did I take this long to complain, because just this morning well driving him to Indian Hills, he said he was so happy that he had the best teachers in the world. Then he starts crying, my son never Cries, unless he is physically hurt. But he went on to tell me a story about a little boy there who was playing and for no reason the 2 teachers were screaming at him, my son doesn't know why. He told me he was so scared there he'd just sit at a table the entire time, to blend in. To not be seen or noticed. I've never heard him say one good thing about this place. And my heart breaks for him as well as the other children that have gone there, and are there now, and to the parents thinking this is a great place to watch over and protect the most important person in the world. I should have Never allowed him to go there the minute they wouldn't allow me to be a part of or see anything at this daycare. I'm confused as to how to move forward as the short time he was there still has a negative effect on him. Parents this is a warning and to listen to your kids and your instincts. I never want any child to be yelled at embarrassed and emotionally be scarred. But that's what this "school" does. Remove your kiddos and ask questions. If they are like my son and want to please adults, they too are thinking it's normal.He refers to it as "The BAD School" and in my mind that's too nice of an adjective for this place. Never ever send your kids here!! Sorry had to rant! Wish I didn't have to give it one star...

The social diversity is phenomenal and the social graces are not found anywhere else like here. If I could give the school 10 stars I would. Now I just wish the School District of Waukesha would get their stuff together and make this school charter so more families could partake of this education. It's well worth the investment.

My daughter has been attending class at this center for almost 2 years now. She started when she…read morewas 3.5 years old and she is now 5.5 years old. Her reading and math skills have progressed at such a fast pace. My daughter is in Kindergarten, but is reading at a mid 1st grade level, and similarly with Math. Kumon is definitely repetitive and there is daily homework, but the idea is that it become a daily habit. We treat it as such, just like you would going to the gym. We have absolutely seen the reward! The staff at this center is amazing. Yogita, the Director, truly cares for the kids. She is available for a phone call whenever I have a question or concern, and she is very responsive via email. They provide in person classes and also classes via zoom. They are very conscious about COVID precautions. All in all, I am so glad I met Yogita and her staff and am so thankful for their support in teaching and challenging my daughter to be the best that she can, while still making it fun!

In only 4 months, we are already seeing her make huge gains! I love the phonetic approach to reading as well as focus on math facts that build as proficiency is gained. My daughter is reading books now (I.e. Amelia Bedelia and Rabbit and Bear) and confidently adding up to 5s. It is awesome watching her grow as she tries to read signs while we travel about as well as calculate how much she needs/would have left when shopping. My daughter loves going to this center to work with the teachers. I have had nothing but good experiences with Yogita Mohan from pre-enrollment and as we continue to support my daughter's learning. Kumon has definitely helped her grow skills and confidence academically. I highly recommend this center for anyone looking to increase their child's academic skills in both reading and math!

Julia is an exceptional teacher. She is patient and encouraging, she is understanding and straightforward. Julia works with your individual needs and comfort level and doesn't "force" learning.
