Naomi's Music Together Classes

I was a reticent about committing to a 10-week program without much information to go on (because…read moreobviously, I'm on yelp). That said, I am so glad we did! My 3-y/o boy was going through an extremely shy phase when we started. He would barely look at people, let alone respond to people, and I can't believe how much he has opened up in the classes. After a couple sessions, he has totally come out of his shell in class, playing music, singing and acting out the songs. He really enjoys every aspect of the class. There is a great mix of seated songs, objects to make music with, standing/walking songs and free dance. My husband and I both attend with him. Since the songs integrate everyone, our participation helps us not fixate on his level of participation so that he can just relax and enjoy it as we are. I was also unsure about a class with such a wide variety of ages, but you can see each child get their own takeaway from it. He mimics kids his age, and he learns respect and patience around the little ones. Other parents also do a great job of participating, so you don't have to worry about being the only one. Naomi does a great job leading the class, is very natural with kids and communicates with an update e-mail during the week. I really enjoy the e-mail because it minimizes the disconnect you can feel from week to week and has informative anecdotes about music education that I never knew. Every aspect of her class is very well-thought out. You get a CD and book to learn the songs as you go. My son loves the CD, and we play at home and even in the car. When we're on the go, he has even started asking if we can play "Naomi's songs". We've all caught ourselves singing them, which is kind of a fun and unexpected. We are at the Brass Bell location in Glendale, which is a cool perk because it gives us a chance to walk around the store and talk about the different instruments. We took this class to start preparing him for violin lessons and seeing the instruments weekly and the kids taking and waiting for their lessons has really sparked his interest. All in well, well worth it! Note: Classes are shoes off so wear clean socks. :-)

When we are in the car she sings the words to the songs and she loves to drum and play the instruments she learns how to use in class. We live on the Eastside and the convenient location, at the Mindfulness Center on Park Street, makes this a great morning. I highly recommend Naomi's classes-- her sweet nature and love of music-- makes this a worthwhile trip even if you have to drive!

They have a unique way of creating community and helping children build understanding and appreciate their differences. My daughter is incredibly expressive about her feelings and is always excited to go to school. Many other local centers hire glorified babysitters. Instead, I love that Primrose Brookfield employs qualified staff who deliver a comprehensive curriculum with care at the heart of it all. They communicate with transparency and we love the special events like recitals and picnics that bring the families together. We moved to Wisconsin from out of state, so it's been awesome creating connections and seeing so many friendships blossom. It's bittersweet to head off for Kindergarten, but we're happy to create space for another child and family to share in this enriching experience. We're proud to be a Primrose fam. I recommend them to any family seeking curriculum-based care in a welcoming and inclusive environment. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

As a parent, all aspects of Primrose are best in class - From the owner, staff, facility, focus on curriculum, and genuine care for families. Prior to opening, we had direct contact with the owner who made himself available to answer all our preliminary questions - He thoroughly explained the infant room experience, teaching model, and associated curriculum. Our needs, questions, and inquiries have all been met with utmost care. The leadership team and teaching staff go above and beyond to make sure our son has a great day, everyday - Further, that the parents are involved in a child's growth and learning journey. The attention to detail spans across all areas of this school - cleanliness, professionalism, communication, security, education, strong interpersonal leadership team, and the list goes on. We are greeted with a smile from the staff at pick up/drop. Our son has a personalized bottle bag, a specific drawer for his extra clothes and outerwear, and an assigned crib for only him serve as those added touches that stand out to us in a child care setting. Throughout each day while we are at work, we receive hourly updates inside the app tracking all aspects of our son's day that provides us such peace of mind. We love receiving the daily photos of our son playing, interacting, learning, singing, and socializing via the app as well. Each day, our son follows an expert-designed curriculum and a schedule that allows him to thrive. We receive direct, transparent, and professional communication from the owner and staff - The teachers go above and beyond to curate a wonderfully welcoming experience per the Primrose promise. The Primrose family is one we are grateful to be a part of - It has far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to seeing our son continue to grow and develop. She's always very responsive to my emails and promptly answers any questions I have. The center has always been very accommodating to my ever changing work schedule. I LOVE the new app feature - it puts my mind at such ease getting updates on how he's doing throughout the day. They're also great about sending tons of pictures :) You can tell through their work that the staff truly care about the kids. They've had great communication about the expectations during COVID. We get weekly emails updating us on how the center is taking proper precautions. Now, has my son gotten a cold while attending? Yes.... as do all children in daycare. I think the expectation that your child will never get sick in a group setting is a tough reach. Immunity is a good thing! And the center has not had a case of COVID or has to shut down due to an exposure, so I feel comfortable sending him each day. Lastly, I just want to say that I've been so impressed with some of the growth I've seen since my son started attending the toddler room. His verbalization skills have gotten so much better and so have his fine motor skills. Choosing a daycare is a tough choice and I read all the reviews I could find before selecting this center. Please don't let one bad review deter you as this place is great!
