If I could give 0 star rating; I would. This company was messy, unprofessional and bordering on fraud with their payment practices. We booked a limo the other night, for 2 hours. We got 25min tops, charged over $500 when told the price was going to be $200 each trip (to and from) and the owner charged our card before we even agreed to the package provided to us, and after we proposed paying cash, which they agreed to, but still charged the card anyways. Then we were charged for a "waiting fee" while they picked up other customers that they charged for their trip (essentially double charging us) and when we finally did get back in for the return trip, the limo was dirty, and messy, the windows weren't even wiped down so we couldn't see outside due to the sticky handprints all over. The driver was barely old enough to drive and wearing a sweatsuit, nothing professional like their website photos. We were told they'd refund the card charge (they use a POS system so it is a direct charge/refund set up) and now they're saying it will take 7 days to get our money back. They didn't drive us around on the way back to even give us our money's worth. It was get us in and get us the eff out. Will NEVER use them again, and DO NOT recommend unless you want to be ripped off. We will be reporting this company to BBB for bad practices and if the money isn't refunded, the police as well. read more

Hands down the worst company we have ever dealt with. They cancelled at the time of pick up and held our money until the following day. Not only did they not arrive at the pick up time but the company proceeded to ignore our calls after stating they did not have a receipt even though they had our money. Do not book with them ever, they brought down the vibe of the event we booked it for and they had horrible customer service. If you see any review of above 1 star it is probably an employee review to boost ratings because this company is a joke. read more

Brutal company. Not even sure where to start. Called day of to confirm and they tried argue they had never heard of us(we had written confirmation which quickly changed their tune). Changed our pickup time last minute because I'm guessing they double booked. Not kidding, driver pulls up and before even stopping leans out the window and yells "Lets go!". We explain we are waiting on one more couple. He then proceeds to get out of the car and stand in the middle of our group while we are were visiting. Really weird. Pesters us for 20 mins straight about when we can leave. When we arrive at the destination he babbles something about not being able to pick us up at the location at the end of the night and we might have to show up at some other address?? Anyways they were nowhere to be found at the arranged time, wouldn't answer repeated phone calls and it ended up taking us hours to get home from our event because of volume. fucking horrific dont order a limo through these morons!!!!!!!!!!!!! we ordered a limo for 8pm on my sister's bday. he texts me saying "8:30 pick up" and i called him and was like buddy we booked this two weeks ago for 8pm. mf rolls up at 8:50 to pick us up in the wrong vehicle, might i add, texting and driving. meanwhile the vehicle itself is visibly not doing well. there were dirty cups and napkins from the previous customers lmfao. it was starting and stalling and eventually when he parked it for a minute it wouldn't start at all. so we're stuck outside our aprtment building and we waited for 20 minutes while he had the hood up trynna get the bus to start. we couldnt even play fuckin music man. then he still tried to charge us $250 bloody dollars!!! Worst Limo experience ever. We hired them because they were cheaper, but they were unreliable. The driver had no idea where he was going despite a pin drop on google maps that we sent him. He went 1/2 hr in the wrong direction then tried to blame us for giving him wrong directions. When he arrived for pick up he tried to charge $70 more than what was quoted, argued with me, called his boss and then said fine. The white Rolls Royce he pick up is in felt as if it were going to fall apart during our drive. He made us late for our cousin's wedding. Then he showed up 1/2 late on the pick up in a run down party bus. Almost didn't drive us to our second stop despite me clearly stating there were two drop offs at the end of the night when we hired them....then he had the nerve to ask for more of a tip, the tip was already pre paid!!! don't hire these guys!!! read more

I was a little worried since there was only verbal confirmation for our limo ride, but he showed up on time, they didn't charge extra for a liquor licence, the other place I called quoted me $700 but then with hidden costs and crap they wanted $1300 all in, A city quoted and charged one price, and it was more affordable than others, the limo was clean, the sound system was great! I'm a stereo snob so I was happy. I would definitely use this service again. read more

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. My friends and I had recently booked this limo company to go to our High School graduation. This was a big day for us. We each paid over one hundred dollars in order to pay off what seemed to be (in comparison to other companies) a very reasonable price. However, the service from not only the limo driver, but the company in its entirety was awful. To give you the most accurate, detailed explanation of our experience, you should first know that no contract was ever signed at any point in time. That being said, a series of short emails were exchanged. On the day of our graduation, we had arranged for the limo to pick us up from the Legislature at 4:30pm and they had sent us a confirmation on this time. However, when 4:30pm came, we did not see the limo in sight. Now we understood that it was rush hour and traffic would be an issue, but one would think that they'd plan to leave at a time with that in mind. We waited around for 10 minutes or so. After that, we called them to ask if the limo was on its way. After waiting another 5 minutes for our call to be redirected to the limo driver, we were told that she was stuck in traffic and that she was almost there. We told her that we understood. After another 15 minutes, we called again. We then were told that she was at the security check point. At this moment, we went to go check. She was not there. We proceeded to wait another 15 minutes until she showed up a total of 45 minutes late. Even with this, we decided that we were not going to let this affect our evening. We got in the limo and told her to take us to the nearest McDonalds so we could get a drink- After all, we had been waiting for a while. She then proceeded to take the longest route to a McDonalds in Old Strathcona, which was not the closest location. After the attempt in wasting our time, once arrived at the location, she then told us that we had to wait around for half an hour- Yet another attempt to waste the time that we paid good money for. When we arrived at our banquet dinner location, she asked as we were getting out: "So I'm driving you guys home after, right?" We told her yes. She said great. When getting picked up, she was on time. However, she was very, very rude. She said that she shouldn't have to drive everyone back to their own houses even though right before dropping us off, she confirmed this. The emails that were exchanged back and forth between us also states "you can take the limo anywhere within your booked time". Even so, she dropped us off. Not without a couple of other rude remarks like how "[she had] other places to be". When dropping off one girl in our limo, she accidently took a wrong turn. The girl then tried to tell her this. However, the driver responded in a very rude tone: "DON'T TELL ME WHERE TO GO". Due to the fact that we all did not get home till past midnight, we did not phone or contact the limo company right away out of common courtesy. However, we did want to send in a complaint and try to get back some of our gratuity money (which is mandatory to pay before any services are provided). We proceeded to email them the next day with a polite complaint about the attitudes and service of the driver. It took them another day to get back to us (Two days after the event). They responded: "We will talk to our driver about it. You can give me a call tomorrow to talk about the issue." When calling, we attempted to tell the driver the exact issues we had that I had previously states above. Instead of politely trying to find a solution, he began making up excuses for the driver and then laughed at us. When we tried to ask for the gratuity money back (15% which was a total of $120) he laughed at us again. This is beyond unprofessional. We are currently in the process of hopefully finding a solution, as we all feel robbed of our gratuity money. read more

Sweet 16 Birthday disaster I have booked the Hummer Limo a month before my daughters 16 birthday with A City Limo, to make sure my daughter gets the Hummer Limo. A booking confirmation from them has been sent to me acknowledging the booking. A week before the booked date, I have sent numerous Emails to them as a reminder that the booked date is near, no one has replied to my Emails and I ended up calling them a number times, every-time they responded by stating that they will call me back, but never did. Three days before the booked date, I called them again, and this time they mentioned that they double booked the Hummer Limo for our pickup time, and they could pick up my daughters party with a regular limo (not the Hummer). This was for my daughters sweet 16 birthday and now they left me only 3 days to make other arrangements, since A City Limo is not trustworthy to pick up my daughters party. Her invitations to her friends specify they will be in the Hummer Limo on pickup and drop off. Luckily I was able to find a reliable Limo company with another Hummer Limo. read more

The vehicles were unbelievable! They had a great sound system which was great for parties. The interior of the limos were clean and the driver was very accommodating to when and where we wanted to get dropped. Had an awesome time, and will definitely be booking again! Thanks again! read more

Worst experience ever. Used these guys for my wedding in June 2013. Driver arrived with no clue of where we were going. Itinerary had all been arranged with the owner/office ahead of time. After the ceremony, again, had no idea where we were going for pictures. After pictures, as we were making arrangements for the time to pick us up after the reception, he informs us we don't have enough time left on our package and that we will have to pay extra. Fine. When he shows up to pick us up from the reception around midnight, he refuses to go anywhere until payment is made. As I sat there too exhausted to care, my husband deals with payment, etc. Although we did get a car, and eventually ended up everywhere we needed to be - it was stressful and not the way I intended to spend my wedding travels. read more

Worst limo company I've ever dealt with. They sent the wrong vehicle. The sound system was terrible. The driver blew a stop sign. Gratuity was included in the bill but as we were getting off the bus the driver demanded a tip from someone in our group that wasn't aware the fact gratuity had already been included. When we tried to call back the day after they yelled at us, told us it was our fault and hung up on us. Keep searching for a different company don't ruin your special event. read more

Absolutely terrible service! Do not hire this company. The driver was an hour late, kept claiming that he was 2 minutes away but he must have been in another call. When he finally showed up the car had a bag of garbage and dirty cups in it and was also in total disrepair. Our entire family ended up missing the speeches at our cousins wedding because of this company. They should be shut down. read more

AC LIMOS - this limousine company my brother-in-law hired was horrible. I will have to assume they have never heard of GPS or Google maps, they called us 2 times to get directions to our house. They arrived 10 mins late-with The WRONG Limo! The car was dirty, windows were filthy and glasses inside were USED not washed! I had to crawl up front and give directions to our destination as he was taking us to who knows where. The driver wasn't given an address to our destination, from his dispatch. Never got out to open the doors for us. The driver was wearing blue jeans!! I called the owner to complain about the service and was told I was lucky to get the car that I got and he wouldn't be charging me extra!!! We have first booked with a different limo service but unfortunately they screwed up and had to call A City Limo to send us a limo for my wedding as "Edmontons Best Limo" had no more to send to us. So I have never talked to this company directly however what I have written below is what happened with this company and it was horrifying. We had booked a party bus as our bridal party was quite large. He said he would send a hummer limo or a party bus. We got neither. I gave him very specific direction to put pick up location... the driver who came went to the wrong place so we were 25 minutes late. He was not helpful, I had a bridesmaid walking out with the box of bouquets and they to hold up her dress as it was raining. He stood there and stared at her until I asked him to help. He did not help any of us into the car. He could not get the air conditioning to work and kept yelling saying we could do it when there was only a dial that said high med low and it was blowing hot air. He stopped and come back there and unrolled a window... we had just all gotten our hair done so that was not going to do. Then worst of all he had to cross the yellowhead highway outside of the city so vehicles are going 110 km + he BARELY made it across. A semi dump truck had to SLAM on his breaks to not hit us. I started to cry because it looked like he we were going to get hit. So once we got to our ceremony location we sent him home. Not one thing had gone right and almost getting hit by a semi was the last straw. Now Hot Rods is taking no blame for any of this and will not even answer my phone calls. Yes this may be a fluke and I just got the one bad time he's given bad service. But he is not doing anything at all to try to make this up to us. Good customer service is giving your customers great service in the good and the bad times. So if you're the next one he gives his bad service to, beware. read more

I used this company because it was the cheaper option but not one thing went right for my friends 18th birthday I called several times confirming my appointment making sure they knew all the details but everything went wrong 1. Went to wrong town, he was looking for us in Edmonton but I specifically said pick up was in Leduc 2. Said he would not drop us off at home since we were in Leduc but when I called they said no problem for drop off 3. Brought the WRONG limo - I ordered a 14 person and he came in a 10 person 4. He wanted 580 but was told final price would be 480 5. Driver was rude and ignorant 6. Didn't even know where he was going when I could not stress enough that we were to be dropped off at the ranch I refused to pay full price for the limo when they did not get one thing right even after I called about 5 times confirming it Do not use a city limo. Not impressed what so ever with this company. My sister hired them for her wedding day and the ruined a big part of it. She ordered a certain limo that seat all of the people in the wedding party and immediate family. Instead of sending that, they sent a sleezy party bus that was not wedding appropriate. On top of that, the bus was leaking all through the walls and down the middle through the ceiling all over our bridesmaid dresses. I addressed it with the driver and he said that his boss told him just to clean in up. No fixing was done before picking us up for pictures which he was a half hour late for. The tv played the same four or five songs continuously and the driver argued with me about how to get to the place for pictures. When I contacted the owner, nothing was done as a reply. They charged more then any other companies I researched and were not professional at all. Especially if you are having a wedding, I would not recommend this company as that is an extremely important day not to have messed up. read more
