We set up our home inspection with Gary Ladwig for a 3000 sq ft home for 10am. He arrived 15…read moreminutes early to start setting up and getting his tools out. A GREAT start from the get go. I followed Gary around for the full 4 hours that he inspected our future home. This guy knows his stuff. He checked everything...and i mean EVERYTHING!. He ran the washing machineS..yes both, and the dryerS..yes both, checked the fridgeS, the stoveS ..all burners, and ovenS. He checked all the sinks for proper drainage, leaks. Flushed toilets, ran bathtubs, checked all visible outlets for electrical power, and properly wired outlets (of which many were incorrectly wired), checked the electrical panel innards, garage door opener, lights in entire house. Gary got up on the roof (as he saw it safe to do so), inspected it, took pictures. Gary got up into the attic, and checked the underside of the roof, and everything else up there. did i forgot anything?..yes i did..did Gary?..NO HE DIDN'T ! I would reccomend A-Z in a heartbeat ... oh, and did i mention i learned a whole lot about our future home while shadowing Gary for 4 hours?..i did.

He scheduled the inspection for the following day. He called us immediately afterwards and submitted his inspection the same day. He was very knowledgeable and identified minor issues other inspectors might have missed. The reason I chose "I Find It Inspections" is because my realtor recommended him too. Strangely though, when I was letting other businesses on Yelp know that I booked my home inspection with someone else, most were gracious but one company asked who I booked with and then started to say really negative things about the company I chose!?! I was a bit shocked at the time - not impressed and worried a little bit about my decision. In the end, I trusted my realtor (who was Pete Shpak and really excellent) and I trusted my gut. Anyway - Paul was on time and ready to roll at our appointment. He did a thorough inspection and was awesome. He was not arrogant or rushed. He was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly experienced in this business. Great attention to detail and he came across as someone who is honest. He provided a great maintenance manual and answered all my questions. The building was already pretty new and probably did not need an inspection but I still wanted an inspection. Paul provided the Peace of Mind I needed before the deal was finalized. He provided information I wanted to be confident in finalizing my purchase.
