But we had already seen so much gorgeous scenery... we went oneva night early. (Missed the dog) Had a nice diner by the river in town ... near the drawbridge. When I went into the gallery I was heartened to see true representation of local artists and that the works were skillful and professionally displayed. When I've been in other cities I've been increasingly disappointed that galleries show a large percentage of coldly decorative or derivative work. It was refreshing to see items that were sincere. I didn't expect to see a gallery of any significance in Calumet, and it is not the only one there, either.

Not a fan and when I asked to reverse the charge and that I would pay cash the owner/manager seemed not pleased. We go here frequently and I will have to remember to bring cash in the future. (We went to 6 other stores in Marquette today, used debit card at each place, and none of them used a surcharge.
