Beyond his brilliant eye for design and great ideas for materials, Sven was an invaluable partner in managing the renovation itself. Our project turned into a bit of an archeological adventure--we discovered so much hiding under the walls of our old adobe kitchen--but Sven served as a constant guide. Whether it was navigating floor or countertop choices or troubleshooting design issues as they popped up during the work, he was always there to help coordinate with our contractors. In fact, he was so skilled and helpful that even our own contractors were impressed; they actually added him to their roster of design consultants.
