I had GEICO leave the car there for their adjuster to see, and lo and behold I was shocked that they didn't total it. It's a 2008 Altima, 90K miles, stick shift, but I guess it held it's value. The estimate came to almost 6K. I didn't have to pay - GEICO covered it, and since the other driver was at fault, his insurance covered it. No deductible, woo hoo! What with the holidays and the crappy weather as of late, it took awhile to get the car back. However, it was worth the wait! It looks better than ever. You can't tell that it was in an accident, the dings/dents on the doors (one side from a shopping cart, the other from some idiot on Canal St going towards the Holland Tunnel) were also gone. The car looks great, and more importantly, it rides smoothly! After picking it up yesterday I headed up to Westchester and the car handled well. It was great in today's snow squall, too, so I guess the frame work is perfect. Thanks, Russ, the car looks great and I appreciate you throwing in the jar of touch-up paint.

I couldn't help but notice all their rewards and Positive reviews from customers displayed on the walls. I felt like I made the right decision bringing my car there. I was told "don't call us we will contact you" . They explained my car should be finished by the end of the week which would be Friday. Friday no call or update from them. I called Monday was told my car wasn't ready yet and may take another week. Another week passed no call or update. I call again this time Scott says work may take a few more days by Friday should be ready ! Friday comes again no call or update. I call them before their work day ends and was told the car wasn't ready then maybe thirty minutes later I get a call back saying the car is ready. When I get there Sonia at the front desk advised the car is in the lot with the keys inside. I walked to the lot to inspect t my car I must've been there for 15 -20 mins no one met me to explain the work or ask if I was satisfied. I went back inside the office to ask if anyone would come out to inspect the car with me. The elder guy comes out and says " oh I was going to come out I was in the bathroom". He stood at a distance and ask if I was satisfied. Yes but not with their lack of communication and poor customer service. The work looks very good however the car was left with dry water marks as if they washed it and let it air dry and my personal items in the trunk were careless thrown back inside. I'm happy to have my car back but unsatisfied with the customer service I received.
