No big deal I just changed the oil at the truck stop when I realized what happened and called them. I heard the assistant manager over the phone screaming at the "tech" if you can even call them that, asking him "if he could read". I honestly believe that he genuinely wanted to know and I wouldn't be surprised to find out he couldn't read, but hopefully someone at GreaseMonkey is capable of reading this review. I was In Clovis for work and was already an hour away on going home day, I wasn't coming back. The assistant manager assured me when I came back they would refund me or take care of it and I believed him. Fast forward 1 month I'm back working and I'm due for an oil change. When I called them I was informed that it was my fault and they are not responsible for reading what they put in your vechicle. Honestly that's a pretty solid policy considering we still aren't sure if at least one "tech" cant read. Guys like this give real mechanics a bad rap. I hope this review helps someone else avoid dealing with a shop with the combined IQ of a monkey.

The main person who succeeded in flooring me with his integrity is manager Nate. He advised me personally relating to service for my very old car. He didn't charge me for their time. I've never experienced this type of customer service from any automotive company anywhere. Tried a couple other places but earliest they could get me take care of was 730am. Went back on Yelp and searched "auto repair" instead of"brakes" and Marez popped up. Called and spoke to Albert who told me he could get me in. Albert and his guys got both my brakes and rotors done in 2 hours! Absolute life savers!

I broke down in the middle of the name in this small city of Clovis. I tried calling 4 different…read moreshops with no answer or just voicemail. I tried Marez Auto and Albert answered on the 2nd ring. He was super nice as I explained my issue. Water Pump died and started pouring water out on my way from OK to Artesia. I was literally 3 minutes away from his shop and was able to limp over. Albert pressure tested the system and sure enough the water pump was shot. He ordered the water pump and new belt locally right away. Once he got the parts off, he also noticed that the idler pulley was nicked up and not working properly. While waiting for parts he suggested a good place to eat for breakfast/lunch, just a block away and good food. He completed the repair quickly once all the parts were received and I finally made my way back home. Albert is a great mechanic and good person in general. If I'm ever in the area again and need mechanic work, I would not hesitate in taking any vehicle to him for repair. God bless Albert.
