It was a huge decision to find home care for our Mother. Huge. I spoke with several agencies and I…read morelike what Guardian Angels had to offer. The intake person, Ms Green, was very nice. She listened to ALL our needs and wants. We made it very clear what was needed by our Mother. We wanted an uplifting person. Some laughter. Take a walk with her. Memory exercises. Pill management. Puzzles. When the caregiver arrived, she barely spoke. My mom had to carry the conversation. She wasn't upbeat, but literally did nothing. She did not engage Mom but just sat there. One of our needs was medications to be filled and checked weekly. At 5 am when my mom got up to take her first pill she realized the caregiver had done her pills COMPLETELY wrong. Thank goodness mom noticed. I could carry on but mostly, I would not recommend this business to anyone. I

On 8/24/23, I hired Guardian Angels Care LLC to care for my father at his home, when he was…read morereleased from the hospital on hospice due to l live out of state. They were to aid with his catheter, medications, light housekeeping, and companion care. Original I hired them to work 42 hours a week with him. Throughout the time with them there were some issues, no one showing up, staff just watching TV or sleeping. I would call and inform the supervisor/ owner Niyetoshia Thomas and at times she would get rude with me when I would ask if people came in when scheduled. There were some problems throughout the time they were hired. The biggest problem happened on 10/31/23, when they double charged my father $1632.96, the first charge was 10/27 and then again 10/31. After going back and forth with them about not receiving the credit, I was able to get a get from his bank. I asked numerous times asking for documentation about the credit and months later was provided information. I had sent them a letter from the bank stating it was never returned and a statement showing it was never returned. On January 8, 2024, I received an email stating that our bank took the money back from them and that I now had a balance of $1632.96, they recharged my father's account. I never received that money back from them, they insisted that they gave the credit back. They offered to give 50% of it back while the still investigated. I would not agree to half due since that was still a loss. On March 22, I cancelled their services due to find out how they got the money back. Upon hiring them they required a $1512 deposit, which was to be refunded. They said that they had 30 days to issue a refund. I called numerous times with no response until finally on 4/30, Mrs. Thomas returned my text. The office emailed me on 5/1 around 8 pm stating the deposit was mailed to me. As of 7/9, still no refund. I was informed from them after numerous emails that no check was received, that due to a cashier check that I had to wait 60 days before they could issue another one. I have now been informed that I will be able to get my check from a lawyer because they will no longer be communicating with me. As of 7/9, have not heard from a lawyer and do not know the lawyer's name and have no refund. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.
