We were concerned because they are usually very expensive for nothing super special. Then my wife happened upon Chelsea Lietz's Photography. Not only were the prices very reasonable, but her photos were simply gorgeous. We ended up getting the "Belly to Baby" package which was two photography sessions one a short 45 minute Maternity session, and the second a 3 hourish newborn photography session. The maternity session blew our minds away, we were so pleased with how laid back she was, how professional she seemed, and most importantly how organized, and timely she was. She asked us if there was anythign we wanted and we mentioned our tattoos, and she delivered with what is one of my favourite photos of me and my wife. We were super pleased with the maternity session, and everyone in our family and freidns on facebook loved the photos. We thought it couldn't get better than this. WE WERE WRONG!! Chelsea has a plague on the wall of her studio that says "Baby Whisperer" this is not an exagerration. She handled our 1 week old newborn so well that we immediately trusted her with our baby so much that my wife and I both fell asleep due to the comfortable environment, and the absolute trust we had in Chelsea. Then the Photos came.... They were simply stunning! She focused on the baby like she should, but still managed to get a couple of pictures with my wife and I with the baby. They were everything and more that we wanted. For the price that we paid I doubt we could find someone with more bang for the buck. She also did my maternity shots, and those are amazing too!! It takes us about 1.5 hours to get to her, but I would drive double that!! Her work is the best.

We used Shannon as our photographer and we loved her! We loved her energy, her spirit and her ideas…read moreof different poses. Her price packages are very reasonable. We had the package of 2-3 locations so she took well over 500+ pictures of us. It was during July so you know how hot Texas can get during that month. I was big and pregnant and was sweating like I'd ran a marathon. Lol! Shannon was nice enough to give me her lease cleaning rag to pat the sweat off my face because I didn't have anything to wipe it with but assured me that she'd fix the photos. (Thank you for that)! We left after our session really impressed with her. Her turn around time was pretty fast! When she sent us over the photos, we looked over them and we liked some of them but the ones with me and our oldest son showed our faces being really sweaty. There was a glare on mine and his face in most of the photos of us and I did bring it to her attention via email and I sent her the image numbers. Although she "fixed" them, they still had that very shiny glare in them all. I wish I would've done more research and asked about her picture editing abilities. That would've determined if we would've used her or not and we wouldn't have used her at that point. I did see some of her photos on her Facebook page and that helped with our decision to use her. All of those photos looked to be edited good so it didn't cross my mind to ask her, her abilities. I'm giving her 3 stars because she does work hard while on location, her personality is out of this world and the 114 "edited photos" she sent over are nice shots (they're just not edited good at all), however, I wouldn't refer any of my friends or family to her as their photographer just because I know what they like. Our maternity pictures were completed offsite as per my request but her work was amazing! I couldn't wait to see what she could do with a studio session. Nancy definitely has an eye for photography and attention to detail. I loved how she really took her time to place every little's finger and every little hair in the perfect place before snapping the shot. And she is so good with babies! I was surprised how she handled my newborn with such care while capturing amazingly gorgeous angles and poses. The proof is in the pictures! She has the cutest array of props and every color for every baby/toddler. Her studio is a spacious, open concept studio with a very nice sitting area for parents fully stocked with comfy sofa, magazines, coffee maker and TV with AppleTV where you can sit back while trying not hover over her working with your babe and relax while she works her magic. Even before I had met my husband, I knew that whenever the time for me to have children came about I would want Nancy, to take my child's pictures. I had seen her work spread about social media from friends to friends of friends. And to say I was envious of them, would be an understatement. When I found out I was pregnant with my first child last year, I had contacted Nancy to do his newborn photos. Of course I couldn't do JUST the newborn photos, but I couldn't wait to see the magic she would capture when my new bundle arrived. Nancy has always been so patient with me, especially since I'm kind of an annoying person (lol) but she always took the time to answer my questions, gave me lots of helpful tips to make sure my son's photos turned out magical and that's exactly what she delivered, magic! So now I sit here impatiently waiting for our next photo session with Nancy. But the one piece of advice I always give new parents is to never regret spending that money on newborn photos, or even the photos during their first year. I found Dorean when I came across one of her cake smash pictures on Pinterest. I fell in love with the photo - it was exactly what I had pictured for my daughters pictures. I got in touch with her, and from there everything else just fell into place. She was up front with providing her package information, session fees and deposits. Everything was perfectly laid out and super easy to understand. We were in contact many times before my session, she always was available for questions and was very hands on when needed and involved in helping me create the vision I had for the session. The day of my session, my always very happy go lucky daughter decided she was not at all interested in having her picture taken and preferred to stay glued to my leg crying for an hour. Dorean was so patient and understanding, and being a mom herself knows these things just happen sometimes. So after a little break, we came back and had an AMAZING session!
