I was very nervous, but it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable. I was treated compassionately by the medical assistants as well as PA Rose Chasin. She was thorough in her approach and spent a lot of time getting to know me and my history - as did the assistant responsible for the initial intake. It feels good to say I have a primary care provider after all these years. We will see what the blood work reveals and then discuss a plan of action, with Northern Medical's onsite physical therapy, acupuncture and hyperbaric therapy as potential options. I was suffering from severe back pain and came across Cunico on Instagram. They looked great…read moreonline, however upon arrival I quickly realized they were a cookie cutter money making business. I got an MRI and Xray and was told that I had bulging discs, degeneration and scoliosis (which I do have). Conico had already determined it would take 30 sessions of decompression for $5,325 to improve my back, which seems to be a package they give to everyone because it's on a prewritten care plan and is not adjusted to individual needs. They told me not only would this help my back, but it would cure my back ailments. I expressed that I would think about it and I called later that day to cancel my future appointment as I wanted a second opinion. The receptionist replied with "Thanks for the insult" and hung up on me! Instead of asking if there was anything they could do or if there was a reason I felt that way. It was completely rude and unprofessional and honestly proved to me that my first suspicions were correct. I have since gone to a 2nd opinion, who told me those decompression treatments would have worsened my condition as I also have arthritis. The 2nd opinion also told me the my best bet would be to go to physical therapy as there is no "cure". I absolutely will never go back here and I will never recommend them to anyone else.
