At the time he wanted to make a couples message appointment for the both of us (which is advertised on the website). He was told they couldn't offer that because they don't have an extra person to do two people, so that was when he chose to do the spa packages for us with just an "add on" for me only for a message after. He said he was also called by the spa to confirm the services the week before and confirmed he did want both packages and the message for me. When we arrived at the spa, we were welcomed by a very young girl who told us that she did not have me on the schedule for a message and that there was no message therapist available unless we could come back later. That was strike one. We were then taken to the salt room, which has four chairs in it. Instead of being seated closer to the interior wall, we were sat in the two chairs closest to the exterior window. The purpose of this salt room in to relax while breathing in the salt. Relaxation was not possible because we heard every loud truck, motorcycle, and car that went by (spa is located very close to a main road);this was strike two. Then we were taken to the infrared grounding mat. At first it felt really good like laying on a heating pad, but towards the last 5 minutes it felt like it was burning my back and I had to get up off of it, plus this was also by an exterior window and heard road noise; strike three. Then, after coming off the hot mat we were taken to the oxygen aromatherapy. I did really like that, but we were placed in the middle of the place which was colder (felt breeze of people walking in and out of door) and we were not given a blanket. We also felt funny sitting there in the middle of everything. After coming off that hot mat, I was so cold sitting there...strike four. Then we were taken to the anti- gravity message chair. After I mentioned about being cold I was finally given a blanket. After our chairs were started, we were handed remotes and the staff walked away. For five minutes my husband and I were having issues with our chairs working, only to find out the staff had switched our remotes; now a strike five. Needless to say my surprise spa day was very disappointing and my husband was very upset about the whole thing turned out. The only staff that day were two very young girls, maybe teenagers. They were nice enough, but felt mechanical and we really didn't feel well taken care of. We also weren't offered much information on how these services were supposed to be beneficial for us. They did give us 20% off due to all the issues, but then we were also expected to tip. It really wasn't the relaxing day anticipated. After seeing all of the great reviews for this place, I really don't understand why we had such a terrible experience. I thought I should give an honest review of what we experienced. You can go and make up your own mind, but we wouldn't recommend it. Spend your money elsewhere. We won't be going back.

I have an old wood-walled pool that has seen better days so the skimmer install was tricky. Omar and Ben came and did a great job working around the issue and installing a new leak free skimmer. Once I was able to fill the pool and get the pump working I was looking at what looked like a green swamp. However, the very knowledgeable Lisa in the water testing department recommended a 3 day regimen of chemicals which, remarkably, had the pool more or less clean in three days. Honestly, I would never have believed it. She understands the chemistry and was spot on with the solution. Of course if I'd closed the pool properly last season...lol, but I didn't, and thanks to Lisa, and Ben and Omar I am up and running before June 1st. Thanks Royal Pools!

Seven months later, they had to come back out and replace additional parts, which cost me another $1,100 over a couple of visits. Now, after all of that, I am being told the same control board they replaced nine months ago is bad again and that I need to spend another $900 to replace it. I understand warranties have time limits, but when a customer spends around $2,000 trying to get the same hot tub fixed, it is extremely frustrating to be told that a major part they recently installed has already failed and that the only option is to pay full price again. At some point, a company should stand behind its work, its diagnosis, and the parts it installs. I do want to be fair and say that Eniezer has been very professional and helpful from a customer service standpoint. My issue is not with him personally. He has been courteous and responsive. My problem is with the company's inability to properly fix the hot tub and back up the service they provided. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about using them for any major repair.

Horrible experience over the entire process of…read moreinstalling a new custom vinyl pool with a fiberglass hot tub within the footprint of the pool. We dealt with Shane, who is absolutely useless. Knows nothing about the equipment he sells, could not remember anything we had gone over with him or the actual liner and products we wanted. We were doing stone coping and pavers around the pool. Told us we must use 12" coping. Luckily I waited to order the stone as when they installed the the pool walls and the hot tub (which was delayed by several month because they told us the wrong one was sent to them - an absolute lie as we had to chase them down up to the day before they were supposed to install it until they finally lied to us and tried to talk us into doing a concrete hot tub instead - which by the way they originally said they could not do). When they finally installed the hot tub 4+ months later, 12" coping would not cover the gap between the hot tub and the pool wall because they had measured incorrectly. (needed at least 14" coping). Then the hot tub was leaking from day one. Couldn't get the basics right - if it doesn't hold water, nothing else matters. They sent over someone who didn't know what he was doing and was just smearing caulk all over the one light fixture in the hot tub to try and fix it. After the 4th! visit to find fix the leak, we had to get a sonic leak detection specialist to find and repair the leak. Then one of the relays went out at the Pentair panel. We were now dealing with the owner of the company (Vinnie) due to Shane's complete incompetence (I can not stress enough how clueless he is..). Vinnie tried to claim it happened because the low voltage line was run in the same conduit as the high voltage line (this is not the cause) and it was our electricians fault and needed to go back to them. He didn't realize that HIS electrician had run it.. another idiot trying to offload his mistakes onto us. They sent a nice guy over to fix it and he replaced the relay, but said he couldn't test as he didn't know how, but it should be good as it was a new part - the first one was a new part also, you need to test it. I did it myself. They also ran the lines for surface mounted air control valves (for bubbles in the hot tub) right in the walk path and where you step into the hot tub. I spoke to Shane (Vinnie wasn't available) to tell them they needed to be moved (10 mintue job - pvc flex pipe) and Shane said I don't think you can do that.. The guy who knows nothing about pools, now has an opinion on pool plumbing. I told him it absolutely can be done, and WILL be done, I was asking them to do it as they had put them in the wrong place. He got back to me after talking to his techs and gave me a quote of $150 per hour to move. Thanks for nothing idiot. I did it myself in ten minutes, no issues. Shane also ordered the cover for the pool and hot tub incorrectly. He literally co do nothing right. We spent over 1 and 1/2 years dealing with their incompetence. The actual pool builders they outsourced to (believe they were called King Pools) were good. NEVER EVER think about using them, you will regret it like we did.
