While planning for my wedding, I thought about not hiring a videographer to cut costs, but after hearing opinions from a few others who had recently got married, I changed my mind. Finding a good videographer was now a priority on my list.
I found A+ Media Creations while at the Blaisdell Bridal Expo last year. I had left my email address at a variety of vendors, so when I received a coupon from them, I decided to look at their website to see what they had to offer. I was able to watch some sample clips on the website and check a price list. Prices were reasonable and I enjoyed watching the samples. I then emailed the owner, Phil Ammon, to set up a consultation date. He got back to me right away and we were able to meet soon after the initial email.
We met at a Starbucks, where Phil showed us more samples and my husband and I were able to get a feel for him. We liked his personality and decided to book our date with him that day. I'm so glad we decided to book him because of several reasons:
1. He was always timely in returning emails. He was also always in touch with my wedding coordinator the week of the wedding.
2. He has had experience filming weddings, which was evident in his samples. His layout of the DVDs was also pretty cool since it included interviews with the wedding party and parents.
3. Again, his prices are reasonable! He actually even does photography and slideshows, along with videography.
4. We ordered the ceremony highlights to show during the reception and we got so many compliments about it. My mother was so happy that it came out flawless and he was able to do it right then and there at the reception hall.
5. We received our DVDs in a timely manner. No waiting around forever for it to come. We just got married about 3 weeks ago and the DVDs have come already!
Overall, if you're interested in hiring someone who is professional, but also has a great personality, check Phil and his company, A+ Media Creations out. I also have a Vimeo video that he put up of our ceremony highlights and would be willing to share if you want to see it. read more
