Josh provided an amazing and informative Swedish massage on my first visit. He made me feel very comfortable (and was SO kind when I told him I was feeling a bit overheated and needed a break, in which he took the time to adjust the fans and room temperature to make me feel more comfortable.) He explained the techniques he was using and which areas would be targeted. We were also able to get a better understanding of problem areas. Josh really helped me feel comfortable weaning back into massage therapy, following previous treatments to help my back pain. Following the massage, we had a quick debrief on it was recommended I try out a deep tissue massage for my next appointment. I was able to work with Jason and he was absolutely amazing, as well! I was nervous going into a higher pressure massage, but Jason kept open communication and made me feel comfortable to let him know pressure levels and spots to work on. I left feeling loose and relaxed, and both Jason and Josh did a great job of providing extensive aftercare information in order to extend the benefits of the massage. She…read morealso can use cupping therapy, which utilizes suction to alleviate pain and inflammation and increase blood flow (note that the suctions do leave red circles on the massaged areas that last for at least several days. Worth it!). She's also super responsive to client requests: Sometimes I want to break up a high tension spot with some aggressive deep-tissue work, and other times I need a gentle, relaxing massage to push out life's stresses. She's got my back, literally, either way! Other treatment options include raindrop treatment with essential oils, which I can't wait to try on my next visit, and hot stones. Pro tips: When you pull into the drive, head all the way to the rear of the building (down the hill) as you can't access the businesses in the back from the building's front entrance. And if you go during the winter, approach the hill cautiously as it can be slippery on snowy days.
