Customer service was good, they were over twenty minutes late to my appointment. I eventually politely asked if there was a time estimate as my appointment was supposed to start twenty minutes earlier and I was concerned I would be sitting there for a long time. For what they charge, I was expecting more punctuality. The customer service lady asked me if I had some place to be. Yes, if I want to just sit there and relax I can do that at home. I showed up on time, I just wanted the same courtesy. To top it off, my masseuse was on his phone a bunch of times. Half of my massage was one handed. I could hear the click of him shutting his phone off then fabric rustling while shoving it in his pocket. That atmosphere was good, the overall experience was lacking. read more

We purchased several gift cards from Massage Green in Kalamazoo. When we went to schedule an appointment, we were told that they are not booking appointments in Kalamazoo anymore and refused to refund any of the gift cards, saying I would have to drive 40 minutes to the nearest facility if I want to use them. When I asked to speak with the owner, I was told "they'll just tell you what I already told you." The woman was short and rude and never once apologized for the inconvenience. read more

Over the years I have been going to various locations . Therapist have always been great. Reception, not so much. I had the unfortunate even of having to euthanize one of my animals just a few hours before my massage. I called to cancel. First, I was put on hold after explaining the situation. Receptionist came back and told me my appointment was canceled but policy is that I am still charged. Really? I did not even get a I'm sorry for your loss. Like I made it up . Went here for a 1 hour couples massage which was gifted to us in the form of a Groupon. I had no problem scheduling an appointment that fit within our schedule, even with it being a couple weeks before the Groupon expired and on Valentine's week. My spouse was a bit wary of a massage, having never had one, and I had only had 1 before. After filling out some paperwork and relaxing on the comfy couch, we were taken back to our room with 2 massage tables. The massage therapists clearly explained the process and both asked us throughout how we were doing. They focused on our noted problem areas- I got a great extended massage of my feet, and the massage therapist was able to remedy some hand/ thumb pain my spouse had been having for weeks. The hour went by quickly and I never felt uncomfortable. The Groupon was actually taken care of at scheduling, so there was little to do afterward except leave a tip. Looks like the rates for services are pretty reasonable. We would definitely return for a special occasion. read more

I have to say I was more than impressed with Massage Green Spa. I walked in at 2 looking to see of they had any openings for the day. They were able.to get me in at 4. The manager at the front desk is very welcoming and the atmosphere in the spa is exactly what I was looking for. Before my massage, my massage therapist, Joyce Dunham, spent 5 minutes going over what I was looking for during my session. Throughout the session she was very professional and was sure to make sure that the pressure she was using throughout the session was just right. Their introductory offer was $29.95 for a one hour massage. Who wouldn't want to try that!? After that, you can continue to go back for regular sessions or you can sigh up for their wellness program that allows you to get massages at a lower price. Again, why not sign up for that? 50 years working in customer service if you had a -10 it would be a better rating. Paid for 2 facials/ 2 message they didn't have a problem taking my money but when it came to schedule for services they didn't stand up for what is right or fair.. I will not recommend Green Spa to my worst enemy!!!! That is from the receptionist, to the district manager to the corporate , excusss for their mistakes , not treating their customer with respect or considering the custom should and always be #1!!! read more

Don't even have words for the horrible customer service and treatment from the owner. I bought an infra red sauna package because I read it could help with concussions and was hoping it would help with mine before I leave the country for my wedding. It was broken but I was assured it would be fixed the next day. Three weeks later it still wasn't fixed so I asked for a refund. After getting the run around for a week and the owner and managers refusing to communicate to me the sauna finally got fixed and they told me it's against their policy to refund packages. That was never communicated to me and I still have heard nothing from the owner who's name they won't even give out despite the fact they claim I already spoke to her. I've suffered from a concussion for 4 months and just wanted to see if this would help before I get on an airplane and boat. Having these visits for when I get back defeats the whole purpose of getting them to begin with. Besides why would I now want services from a company who gave me the run around for a week and whose owner still refuses to communicate with me directly. Front desk girl gave me the number for corporate if I had concerns and I couldn't even get ahold of them because they are in the process of changing cities. read more

Just because new management has taken over and some of the policies have changed, I think as a business you should still honor commitments that were previously made. Even if an employee erroneously misinformed a client you should not make the customer lose money on a service they were lead to believe they paid for in good faith. I'm extremely disappointed and will no longer patronize your establishment and will encourage other people not to as well. read more

Today was my 3rd massage at Massage Green Spa in Battle Creek MI. My first message was so so. The gentleman that gave me my massage also worked for a local Chiropractor and spent the entire hour tying to get me to come see his boss for my next massage and never stopped talking during the entire massage. The 2nd massage was good so I figured I just neeed to find the right person but of course on the weekends it's never the same person twice. Today was my 3rd massage and it was so disappointing. He spent about 10 min lightly rubbing the middle of my back and the rest of the time was spent on the backs of my legs. He never once touched my shoulders, arms or neck which were the areas I asked for and need the most. I spent the entire time face down on the table ending up with a headache and cramping in my neck from being so uncomfortable. I am not feeling the love for this place and have had better massages at the local mall. read more
