Braga doesn't have a lot of publicly accessible spots to charge a phone. There are a couple of outlets in the food court, just outside of Pingo Doce. And there's a bathroom. Yet I didn't even stop long enough to check to see if there's wifi. The flickering led lights, children blowing balloons while riding the animatronic animals, time warp decor, and couple going to third base made me feel like I'd entered some indie film. If you're looking for a spot to do a little creative writing, this food court is it. I had a bus to catch and didn't have time to ride this flashback.

Great pastry with custard creme in the middle. Realized that's the specialty dessert of the city. Their other pastries where so good as well. The entrees were big and good. Good selection in the menu. Servers are quick with food. Restaurants is very clean. Can seat indoor or outdoors. Bathroom is clean as well. Very closed to the Braga cathedral.

They had a…read morehuge sale going on and I picked up a shirt off the clearance rack which after we paid for it, found out I'd misread their Portuguese sign--it was full price, and when I tried to return it, realized they had a "no returns" store policy. They did, though, have store credit and exchanges (I'd give it 5 stars if their returns policy was better). I coaxed my husband to go up to their men's department, which is huge and doesn't take a backseat to their women's section; my husband found a pair of jeans that fit him very well, for only 5 euros more than my shirt. The customer service is what you'd expect from a mid size retailer, and pretty friendly. The layout of the shop is very streamlined and they have lots of variety, two floors and unusual European designs and cuts of stuff not found here in the U.S. A $9 denim shirt for me and a $30 pair of jeans for him--score! We enjoyed strolling around in Chinese Bazars here in Portugal and also in Spain…read more This one here is quite big sized and is full on useful stuff...and stuff you don't need (but you might want anyways). Clothing in all forms, shoes, electronics and gadgets, toys, furniture, beach stuff, pet section, kitchen utensils etc. etc. They got it all. We especially liked the cheap (they don't pretend to be more) jewelery. Got a handful of nice earrings...just for 1 and 2 Euros a pair. Had them a while now and they are still in good shape. Not bad at all for that price. Got some dog toys here as well as some light beachwear. We would have come back, but it was our last day here in town.
