It took about 2 hours, was a bit challenging, but he got the job done. Bill showed up right on time, did good work, and charged just what he estimated. With so many cheaper options to move your belongings why use a company with a 3 hour minimum when you only have maybe 1.5 hrs of stuff to move. Steer clear of a business that does not give any information on a minimum charge without telling the customer until after the job is finished. Great Service and Reliability. Help me moved my last house in Salisbury area and now helping me to move out of Salisbury to Virginia.

While I was impressed with the service this company gave me, I was not happy finding out that on top of the $200 @ hr minimum, there is also an $80 Service Fee. When I questioned Bill about the fee, he said it was for gas. I moved 6 miles away. Although he claims that I was informed of this, that is not true. His response to my concern was "Whatever". Again, I must say that his staff is courteous and efficient. Very polite workers who do a remarkable job. I did like Bill at first, but his total disregard of my complaint caused me concern. I am a senior citizen with a fixed income, and although I was willing to pay $600 for a 2 hr move, I should have at least been told about this fee so I could budget accordingly. read more

I used A Moving Xperience twice in the last few months to help with my move (I moved to a new place gradually). Bill responded quickly to my original inquiry and was really helpful. The pricing in both cases was straightforward and fair with no surprises. The gentlemen who came to move my items were friendly and professional. I ended up with a couple of dents in a wall/door frame between the two moves. Nothing that paint and spackle could not fix, and not wholly surprising when moving large/heavy items in and out of houses. I moved from CT to DE 6 years ago and decided to return home. I was not familiar with any companies in the area nor anyone that could provide a recommendation so the phone contact was important. The conversation gave me confidence I was selecting the correct moving company. This is a top-notch moving company. I actually found them on Yelp. I hired them to move my newly-retired parents into their new home. I was paying for their move, as a housewarming gift, and really wanted to choose a good company. The owner, Bill, first did an in-home estimate of their property. My parents were impressed with how personable and professional he was. He called me the same day with the price (very reasonable) and answered all questions I had about his company. He really seemed to value having me and my family as a potential customers. Two weeks prior to the job, I received a confirmation call, and then another on the day before the move. On moving day, the crew was punctual, professional and efficient. Afterwards, my parents called to tell me how pleased they were. I would not hesitate to use this company again. A Great Experience! After moving my mother ourselves in July 2014 we decided to hire a professional for her second move just two months later. I was a little nervous since I was in California trying to find a mover in Salisbury MD. After much searching I found A Moving Xperience and gave them a call. Boy am I glad I did! Bill, the owner, was very professional and answered all my questions including pricing. Be aware there is a three hour minimum.
