I interviewed with many schools all over Orange County and got a good vibe from McDowell. He started there in 2015 in 4th grade. He LOVED it and thrived there. McDowell gave him a strong foundation and he is about to be a senior at a public high school. He is a straight A student in all IB, AP and honors classes. My twins have now gone there since kindergarten and they are about to start 3rd grade. They actually look forward to school and love all their teachers and the other students! From the extracurriculars, to their main teacher for the year, to the other parents, and the Head of school, Mr. Lincoln, it has been a wonderful and nurturing environment for all my kids. Safety and security for the kids are the top priority here. They don't let anyone pick up kids unless they are added to the check in app. We have to provide a picture of the person's ID beforehand and they verify the ID in person at the time of pickup.
