I live w a chronic illness that causes that, & there were several things I needed to cover without being made to digress. So after repeating what I needed a number of times w no effect, I grew frustrated then actually angry. I needed someone who could listen & respond appropriately, so I went elsewhere. But then I was billed for my insurance declining payments as "not a covered service." Not true! She doesn't accept my insurance despite there being ample time & opportunity to disclose that. That's when the behavior I saw became erratic. She hadn't submitted a claim, then contradicted herself in consecutive sentences. And I've I had to argue to get her agreement to send a new invoice reversing the charges. What a pain to know I have to document every convo in writing & threaten contacting our state board of licensing. I was even told I couldn't have a copy of my file which is preposterous, esp as any patient has a legal right to those copies & it will show she knew my insurance coverage. She revealed herself to be impulsive, disorganized & difficult as well as not strategic in her reasoning.
