Please…read moreGod, She's erratic, scattered, loud, abrasive, aggressive, definitely an over exaggerator (bordering on liar), and rude. I don't understand what's going on these days... so do people just hire anyone? Is everyone just getting a job not matter how qualified they are for the position or MORESO how well they actually fit the position personality wise. This is a therapy practice. T H E R A P Y. A place where people can go and talk about their issues, life, etc. Some people may have deep scars like abuse issues others may just wanna have an extra set of ears to talk to about what's going on. I'm the latter, I found out my insurance covers therapy so I decided I wanted to partake. The Dr seemed like he'd be okay so I scheduled the appointment online. It was cancelled without an email - this is strange. I call back and leave a message. Next day, I get a call. It's Stephanie... and honestly she's exhausted me and worn me out so much just now on the phone I barely have the energy to keep talking. Let's just say I would advise everyone to pass on this practice. I understand giving seemingly former mentally-unstable patients may seem like good charity, but Dr. it's not... you may want to find a different job for her that isn't customer facing.

Over the last 10 years, I've tried traditional therapy and made small progress but not sustainable…read moreprogress. I wanted to try a different method which brought me to Priya. It's been a year or so that I've worked with Priya. I've made more progress with my complex PTSD, emotional baggage and stress with Priya's energy healing methods and just knowledge of the body and spirit, than traditional therapy. She will tell you what you NEED to hear, not what you want to hear because she's just as invested in your healing and success as you are. She practices what she preaches: incredibly genuine and authentic, provides a safe space for complete honesty and zero judgement. I'm so grateful that I stumbled upon Awaken Ananda when I did, because before that I felt lost and clueless, now I'm much more self-confident and empowered for whatever my life has in store for me!

Well, here it goes: We're just starting out (tomorrow's our first official, nitty-gritty session). But I highly recommend Jessica Settle. If I were able to be two additional different people, I'd be able to detail Stephanie and David, but for now, this is where I'm at. Jessica is kind, patient, and human (but smoothly stays behind the ethical line). She allows people to explain themselves through their actions, and is able to name and correct those actions without ... scolding? Like I said - we'll see - this is a rough job (imagine!). But I can confidently say (even this early on) that any lack of marital success following this treatment is no fault of hers. By that same token, any successes (I'm sure she'd disagree) are in great part owed to her. She's an astute and tactful counselor.
