Requirements to provide free music included hand sanitizing, half a physical, and fifty health questions. I left, no free music for them. They obviously didn't want music. I don't recommend anyone ever even consider wasting your time entertaining for this dump. Don't waste your time.

I have a relative living at this facility. Is it perfect? No, far from it. But we made 80+ phone…read morecalls and visited every facility that would take a Medicaid-pending resident and this was the best of the few available options. Let's face it: someone without money isn't going to waltz into a 5-star facility, and just has to hope for something adequate. At Northampton, care plan meetings happen every quarter and are informative, requests are followed up on, the Medicaid liaison is an absolute star, and we get a phone call if a fall, illness, or change in medication occurs. The front desk staff is friendly and excellent at screening visitors to keep them from spreading illnesses to residents (I can't believe someone complained about that!). When there was a covid outbreak, the facility moved ill patients to a covid wing to minimize spread and kept us informed very well. As for the resident experience: Overall the facility appears clean -- sometimes when we visit there is an odor if someone has had an accident, but that is the exception. The building is old and in need of some repairs, but the 2-people-per-room setup is better than another place I looked at that had 4-per-room. The dining/activity room is very nice and bright, and the staff decorates it for holidays. Meals are served on real plates in warmer containers and they are fine. There are activities offered, but of course not comparable to a more expensive facility; I wish there were more music and performances and pet therapy to engage the more passive residents. A lot of the hands-on care staff are terrific and very kind, and some could be friendlier and more responsive, but they all do a very difficult job and we are grateful. They know the residents and in my relative's case are understanding of their individual habits. Unless you can buy your way into somewhere great, living in a care facility in the U.S. is not going to be a picnic. If you are looking to place a loved one, you have to just do the best you can and choose from the available options (and hope Medicare/Medicaid don't get axed!).

"Tom's" review exactly expresses what I experienced at Tranquility. The cleanliness and care of the facility are excellent. My loved one was always clean too. But the patients were neglected in every other way. And the food in memory care was not good. Food seemed to be lower quality than the assisted living side. My mom declined rapidly. And the facility staff often made promises to the family that weren't kept. The physician, nursing director and facility director are colleagues who have worked together for a long time. (the big three) I felt they often played 'good cop, bad cop' with me and my family. I will give a big kudos to Nicole (? I think that was her name) , the director of the memory care unit. She genuinely cared about the residents and did the best she could with the resources that she had. However, her decision making authority was limited by the 'big three' in power. I will also give a kudos to the hairstylist and the laundry service. My loved one's clothes were always clean and fresh smelling. But, as 'Tom' stated - don't be fooled by the wonderful brochure and promises made on the tour. My mother's overall care was very poor.

I was shocked at all the negative reviews, so I read through a few and noticed some common…read morecomplaints so I thought I'd share my experience as it related to them: 1. Asking for a credit card to keep on file. I had no problem with this. They are providing a service for you and expect charges to be covered. Life isn't free. If you are generally concerned, call your insurance company and see what is covered first before going to the appointment. 2. Quick appointments - When is this a bad thing? I was shocked at how quick my annual once over was and I was glad! I did think it was quite thorough, however. My whole body was looked over and freckles/moles they wanted to keep an eye on were noticed. 3. Pushing cosmetic services - none were offered to me and I was kind of bummed, because I had marked in my paperwork I was interested in laser treatment and had mentioned to the assistant that I had a freckle I would like removed. I was never asked about these things and I was just so happy to be out of there fast and head back to my growing inbox at work that I figured I could call in another time. Everyone was super friendly from the receptionist to the dermatologist and her assistant. I'll definitely be back because it's so quick and easy. Despite the busy waiting room, I was seen at 9:02 for a 9:00AM appointment. That's rare!

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience at this office, which I chose…read morespecifically because of its amazing reviews and my interest in trying CoolSculpting. I have never been to this office before and was a new customer. At no point during my initial consultation or booking was I informed that my down payment was non-refundable. This is a critical piece of information that should have been clearly communicated to me verbally before I ever put down over $2,000. Instead, I only discovered this after I called for a refund and was told it was on my consultation form without anyone flagging that clause to me. After the consultation and appointment booking, I decided not to move forward with the procedure and called to cancel. I asked directly how I would be refunded. Instead of getting an answer, I was told someone would call me back. That call never came, and I had to follow up myself the next day just to get any information. When I finally spoke with someone, I was told that my $2,000+ down payment is non-refundable, but that they would "make an exception" and refund half -- leaving the other half sitting on my account for future visits I never asked for and have no intention of using - let's remember I have NEVER been to this office or have used any of their services. Let me be clear: I am not doing this procedure. I don't want a credit. I want my money back. Being told I'm "not really losing money" because it's parked on an account for a service I no longer want is not a solution -- it's a way of avoiding a refund I'm rightfully owed. I came in based on strong reviews and left feeling like transparency was the last priority. Communication failures on your end -- not sharing refund policies upfront and failing to return a promised phone call -- should not result in me losing $1,000. This entire situation has left me with zero trust in this office, and I have no interest in ever returning and honestly have no idea how this practice has almost 5 stars on Google with their very shady practices.

She tested positive for covid before leaving the hospital and this was one of the only places taking covid patients. It was 10 of the longest days of her life until she was cleared of covid and we got her the hell out. The staff was so unprofessional. Arguing outside my mom's door about the patients. She had her nurse help turn the light on and someone cracked the door open and said it's just a little old lady and shut the door. Never checking on her. She depended on help as she was very weak from the stroke. So no help in time to make it to the bathroom or just for a glass of ice water. Food was cold by the time it was delivered as was the morning coffee. They ran out of milk and coffee for the whole facility and depends underwear in a facility like this. There was not one day my sister and I didn't have to ask what the hell is going on. Never got an answer to that because not one person knew what the hell was going on. The 2 person rooms are way too small. No privacy what so ever. Sleep is important for your health but next to impossible there. This facility needs to be reevaluated by whatever medical group oversees places like this because this place is an absolute shit show so RUN do not stop here even to ask for directions, although the lady's at the checkin desk were always nice. The women that cleaned my room was so friendly and always asked if she could do something for me before she left my room. The Nurses were so kind and responsive. Haylie went out of her way and I felt relieved that she knew what I was asking and spoke to my Doctor for me. The Nursing Assistants were so good and met all my needs. They were so helpful when I needed help. Therapy was excellent. Emily from OT worked hard to get me home with a exercise program. Loved all my Physical Therapist's. The food - the menu is available. They have 2 choices for the day and if you do not want either choices, you can check for sandwiches, fruit plate or a few other choices. (I loved their Grilled Cheeses.) The food was actually good and I was very satisfied. Social Work was responsive and helped me to get home with Services in place. Admissions made the process easy. I cannot say anything really negative about this facility. I recommend to all!
