We've never left them for that length of time so we were a little worried but this kennel surpassed our expectations and both dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. They looked after medication for Lulu and April even bathed and groomed them for us so they smelled and looked awesome. We will definitely use Howliday Inn anytime we can't take our pups with us. We've been boarding dogs for years now, but this has got to be the best experience yet! I've got…read moretwo young Border collies, and this was their first time in a boarding facility. I was nervous about it all, but a sudden death in the family left me no other choice. 4 Paws gave me such peace and confidence the moment I walked in. Both of my girls were able to have a separate room per request, and every day the staff posted pictures of them on Facebook. When the two of them got home today, they both passed out and were snoring on the couch, something i rarely see and hear from my active dogs! Obviously well exercised, something I really stress as a Border Collie owner. They are worth every single penny, and our now our forever dog boarders!

When my dog comes back from there, he's so tired he can barely walk. This beats boarding kennels where your dog is caged all day long. Park Your Paws, boarding - daycare and cattery in Amherst, NS is an amazing facility…read more Recently I found myself in an emergency situation (the kennel I had booked 9 months in advance conveniently "lost" my reservation and I was without a kennel for my Great Dane, Fergus) I've known Carrie for several years (thanks to the dog show & rally o world) and frantically reached out to her in the desperate hope that she might know of a facility that might take my boy for 2 weeks. She immediately offered her wonderful facility (even though she might have to take Fergus into her own home for a night or two) I can't describe how overjoyed I was at this offer. My Fergus is my world..... he is not just a dog; he is my baby. My husband dropped Fergus off with Carrie on a Sunday and Fergus never looked back. He entered the facility and promptly made friends with everyone and everything he met. (Including 4 CATS) Fergus got to play in daycare during the day and had a warm and comfy bed each night. He even got to be a door greeter at the facility. (probably because he wanted to be with his new best buddy- the cat!) Carrie even sent me updated pictures of Fergus and his shenanigans while we were away on vacation. I've never been more relaxed or enjoyed my time away because I wasn't worried about the care that Fergus was receiving. There are not enough stars or praises that I can reap on this facility. Its really a doggie wonderland. Pricing is amazing, and the staff are wonderful, warm and caring towards all their clients. Take my advice, do yourself and your pet a favour.... Book some time off for you and some time in this facility for your pet. You won't regret one second!
