Although she had a little trouble finding our house (everyone does), she arrived promptly after receiving additional instructions from us and did a thorough walk-through of our home. We pointed out the areas we wanted her to concentrate on - bathrooms, kitchen, floors, and baseboards. (I have clean baseboards for the first time in my adult life!) She inquired about our preferences for certain tasks like arranging cushions on the sofa. I was impressed to see her doing things such as touching the tops of picture frames to see if they required dusting. Sorangy usually checks in a day or two ahead of time to confirm whether we want her to come on her usual day and to let us know if she has additional availability. We feel comfortable leaving the house while Sorangy is cleaning to let her finish and see herself out. We feel she is responsible and trustworthy. Sorangy (and her team) have cleaned for us 4 or 5 times now. The first was a deep cleaning and the rest have been maintenance cleanings. She is very thorough, especially with the areas we pointed out as being most important to us. We have very hard, iron-rich water that leaves orange stains on all of the tubs, sinks, and toilets. We love it when Sorangy has been here because everything is white and sparkly again! Sorangy is very respectful of private spaces, especially since my husband and I both work from home. She always asks first before entering our offices. If one of us is in a meeting, she will ask again later if it is ok to enter and clean, and we appreciate that. On a personal note, Sorangy is polite, highly personable, and speaks very good English. I enjoy having little chats with her here and there. I have mentioned by back pain to her and she always inquires about how I am feeling. At our first meeting, when I said, "My back is just too sore to do these things," she replied, "It's ok, that's why I am here!" and I loved that! I highly recommend Tiangi Sparkling for anyone in the Hudson and Mohawk Valleys who wants a great cleaning at a reasonable price - especially if it is important to you to support local-, woman-, or minority-owned businesses. I interviewed her and decided to move forward with a cleaning that was coming up within 10 days (same day turn at that). 5 days before the scheduled cleaning she stopped answering texts and calls so I had to take a two hour drive and scramble to find people to help me. Turns out "Always There" is nothing but a misleading slogan instead of a reflection of the type of service this company actually provides.

On July 31, 2025 guests arrived at my short term rental to find an unmade bed and a bag of dirty laundry. The reservation was made in February and Kia had had it on her cleaning schedule since then. After my guest alerted me of the house condition, I spent the remainder of the day texting her and leaving voicemail messages (all unanswered); ultimately the guest had to make his own bed and I had to refund him a substantial amount for the inconvenience. It was August 2 before I heard from Kia with excuses about car and phone problems. This was not the first time I had heard these excuses, but until then the cleaning was generally satisfactory, even though getting the clean laundry returned and put away was often haphazard. Because, at this point, we had used Always There Cleaning for about 18 months, we continued to schedule cleaning with them. That was a huge mistake. On Dec 31, 2025, I confirmed an already-scheduled cleaning for the next day; a turn-around with a five-hour window. No one showed up to clean. Kia did not answer my texts or phone calls. Because Kia had most of my laundry, there weren't sufficient clean linens in the house for a quick turnaround. Because she didn't do her job I had to scramble to get the house cleaned and ready for the arriving guests. Over the next few weeks I sent numerous texts requesting the return of my laundry, which I had paid to have washed, dried, folded, and returned. Part, but not all, was returned after a few weeks. There was never any communication. Kia was totally unprofessional. Ultimately, I filed a claim in Small Claims Court to cover my losses. This wasted 2-1/2 months of precious time. About nine months into our working relationship, Kia asked me to leave a Yelp review. I wrote a positive review on August 22, 2024 (still posted) when she was reliable and seemingly honest. Considering the length of our working relationship, almost two years by the time of the "ghosting", I find her unethical business behavior extremely disappointing, and I recommend you find a different cleaning service.

I could tell she loved her job and cared about her clients. She came prepared for the house visit: brought me a printed notebook with bagua maps laid over my floor plans and took notes for me so I did not have to. We chatted and walked around the house for readings. She also did an energy cleaning at the end of the consultation. The whole session took a little over 3 hours. A few days later, she sent a follow up email with more notes and links for subjects we discussed. Susan was also very mindful of my germaphobic tendencies and offered to bring extra clean clothes and socks to wear inside my house. When I asked her questions, she took her time to double check with her notes before answering. It is a lot of new information to absorb. I appreciated her due diligence. Her method was different from the previous fenshui consultant I tried. It's more natural and less hoaky, which suits my style more. For the price range, it's best to consult with her over the phone and review which package suits you. It's very convenient for me that she takes credit cards!
