After initially contacting them, they asked me to send pictures of my home so they could evaluate the cost of the service. Following several exchanges via email and phone, they scheduled a team of two cleaners to come to my home for an initial cleaning, which was intended to be repeated bi-weekly. When the team arrived, their demeanor felt uncomfortable from the beginning. They seemed somewhat cold and distant, and I felt as though they were looking down on me. While my home certainly needed routine cleaning, such as vacuuming and dusting - it was not cluttered or excessively dirty. There were no conditions that could reasonably be described as hazardous or unsanitary. I asked the team to use my personal vacuum cleaner rather than one brought from other homes, as I prefer not to use equipment that may have been used in houses with pets or children. I also have a high-quality vacuum cleaner that works very well. They agreed and began cleaning, though their reserved behavior continued. At first, I assumed they were simply quiet or reserved by nature. However, the situation changed when one of the cleaners entered my bedroom and saw a photograph of my stepdaughter, who is Black. For context, I am Asian. After seeing the photograph, the cleaner suddenly said, "I can't deal with this. I can't do this." When I asked what she meant and requested clarification, she simply said, "All of this," and walked out of my home. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Jennifer from the company, who said, "I'm so sorry, it didn't work out. This is more than we were expecting." Because the cleaning was not completed, I asked about the charges, and they assured me that I would not be billed. The behavior of the cleaning team was shocking and deeply upsetting. I left the interaction feeling as though I had somehow done something wrong, even though I had done nothing inappropriate. After this experience, I contacted Two Maids, and Ivette coordinated a team to come to my home. Their team was kind, professional, and welcoming from the moment they arrived. They had no issues using my vacuum cleaner, in fact, they complimented it. They cleaned my home thoroughly from top to bottom. I was extremely pleased with their service. Based on my experience, I would recommend Two Maids over Sparkle Cleaning Service.

Requested full window and screen cleaning to get my home ready for sale. Two boys came on July 3rd…read more- one wearing earbuds the entire time he was there and the other with pants down to his butt crack. They did not introduce themselves...so I asked them their names. Attitude from the beginning from earbud guy (Max) - when I asked him if he had a busy day ahead, he stated that he had other jobs but he didn't care because he didn't need the money because he had no bills. Both of them did a slipshod job - from skipping a window or two entirely to not wiping up the water in the channels or window panes of my almost new Pella Windows that were wood and stained. When I asked Max to please wipe off the pooled water, he said he didn't have to because it would dry up by itself - I pointed out they were wood windows and I wanted them wiped dry - he said he didn't need to because they were vinyl...Later when I asked if he was finished with the kitchen windows, he said yeah...I told him there were still cobwebs in the corner of the screen and he needed to clean that off. His response was he had wiped the outside of the screen... I could go on, but you get the point. Insolent, rude and unappreciative of the job he had and no pride in his work. I called the office and asked to speak to the manager - she said I should just continue asking them to redo the work until I was happy with it because it was guaranteed. I do not feel I need to manage and correct workers who should know what their job is and do it well - just as advertised. There were there about one hour and 20 minutes total - and did a lousy job. I was billed $442 for this work. No one from the office ever contacted me and they did not offer to remedy the situation in any way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY DO NOT CARE AND OBVIOUSLY DO NOT TRAIN OR DISCIPLINE THEIR EMPLOYEES.

I scheduled a deep clean with Molly Maid before starting recurring service and was very clear about…read moreexpectations during the walkthrough with the owner -- I wanted a true deep clean including baseboards, vents, fixtures, and switches. Three cleaners came for about two hours, which seemed unrealistic for that scope. While some areas were done well (showers, oven, countertops), many others were missed. Baseboards -- which were specifically discussed during the walkthrough -- weren't scrubbed, several fixtures and vents weren't touched, light switches were still dirty, and the floors were mopped without being vacuumed first, leaving dog hair pushed into corners. After I reached out, the owner did send a crew back, which I appreciated, but many of the same issues remained. When I decided not to continue service, the owner's response was dismissive and defensive -- rather than taking accountability, he suggested our expectations were unrealistic and minimized the issues we pointed out which was especially odd since we had done a walk through together and some of the things he pointed out as areas they would clean were areas that were eventually missed by his own crew. Some effort was made, but the service did not meet the standards promised for a deep clean, and the owner's attitude afterward made the experience even more disappointing.
