Bigfoot contacted me saying they would insure my home. I spent hours on the phone with the agent, and reading and filling out paperwork. Why one star? Because 3 weeks after Bigfoot confirmed all paperwork was complete and I felt secure, I received a letter from them: "WE ARE CANCELLING YOUR INSURANCE BECAUSE YOU HAVE OVERHANGING TREES ON YOUR PROPERTY". In other words, they didn't ask me any questions about why I was dropped, they didn't contact my former insurance agency to know why I was dropped, NOR did they send anyone out to the property to confirm this ridiculous claim, and instead just cancelled my policy! Incredible time wasted and now the stress of having to start from the beginning, all due to their incompetence and lack of due diligence. Seriously, listen to the reviews and pass on Bigfoot.
