Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so without further explanation let's begin!. This is my second time visiting, I don't know why I didn't check in the last time, but I made sure I did this time. So I'm writing a review off of this visit and my last visit that was about 2-3 months ago!. Visit #1: I brought a pair of pants that were damaged because the original draw string started to tear and eventually it tore making it difficult to wear the pants without them falling down at my waist. I brought some string off of Amazon and I took them both to her( I apologize for not getting her name ) she is a great tailor and the sweetest lady you will meet in a business. Back to the review! I told her I wanted to replace the draw string and I gave her the new string. She asked me where I purchased the string from and I told her Amazon. She had my pants ready in a week!. I was happy to get them back, it was like I brought a new pair of pants!. Visit #2: I brought a pair of Levi's off their website, keep in mind I brought numerous pairs of pants and other stuff before off their website. But in particular all the pants / jeans were a great fit. So I assumed this pair would fit perfectly too. But I was wrong, for some reason the pants I recently ordered were weird fitting to me, kind of a wide straight fit, flare at the bottom and extremely long. There is no way I can wear a pair of pants that look different from the pants I normally wear. So yo make a long story short I took the pants back ti my favorite tailor and she had me try them on, stand on a platform and carefully asked me how much I wanted taken in and to how much to taper off, once I agreed to the areas I wanted tailored she pinned the areas. I changed back into my original pants I wore in the store, gave her the pants I want altered and she asked me if next week would be ok, I agreed!!!.. Let me tell you when I say her prices are jaw dropping cheap for the tailor work she puts in!. I will be returning and recommend you do if you're ever in a need of any type of tailor work or any alterations you may need! read more

The lady was great, attentive and quick with the tailoring. She only does cash which is okay, she's also reasonably priced

This is my go to for all alterations. Service is awesome and they do great work. I'd recommend them - no job is too big or too small.

Dropped off 8 of my husband's pants to have the zipper replaced (expensive pants with cheap zippers). She thoughtfully showed me the different zippers they had to replace the current one with. A week later, the pants are like new. Not only did she do an amazing job on the zippers (exactly like the original and you wouldn't be able to tell they're replaced), she hemmed some of the pants that were missing the hem. She was very thoughtful, skilled and courteous. My new go to tailor. read more

- RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL & INCOMPETENT STAFF (stated she was the "manager") - Called on 3/1/2018 at 3:30P to request the price for sewing on a patch. - The employee (Female named Yong or Wong... could not exactly hear her name clearly) said, "DO NOT ASK PRICE. COME NOW. HURRY" and HUNG UP ON ME. - I called back and asked for the manager, which she stated she was the manager. I informed her that hanging up on a paying customer and refusing to answer a question about the price to simply sew on a patch is UNACCEPTABLE... only for her to HANG UP ON ME AGAIN. - The employee told me if I wanted to know the price to sew on a patch that I needed to go somewhere else. I live 25 mins from this location (still the closest to me), so I was not going to drive almost an hour without knowing the price for the service. Also, I requested the owner call me since the "manager" could not explain why she was unwilling to answer my question & so unbelievably rude... this "manager" took my number with the promise that the owner would give me a call before the closing at 6P that day... of course no one followed up or called me back. Do NOT give this place your business. They do NOT care about their customer's and make that perfectly clear by their actions. read more

I came in with a big order of 7 seven pairs of pants. Needed taper and hems. Ms. Young is the owner of the business and she got the job done perfectly. when I got my pants back you couldn't tell they were even touched the stitch work was so clean. I highly recommend her she does very clean work. She even did a pair of sweatpants for me. read more

She is helpful and knows what she is doing. I don't know anyone who has gone to her and not been pleased with the product or price. She doesn't speak great English, so she doesn't talk on the phone much. However, just go in and talk to her, and she is a wonderfully pleasant person who takes pride in her work and it shows. read more

AMAZING!!!!! I am STILL stunned at the job she did. I am getting married in September, and although I have purchased a Wedding Dress, my mom decided she wanted to incorporate her old wedding dress, which is 35 years old. My mom was much smaller than me, and her dress had quite a few stains and definitely smelled like rotten vinegar, so ideally we wanted a dress but realistically we'd take even a handkerchief out of the material. After shopping to a few tailors, all of which were very negative and pessimistic, we went to A Plus Tailors. She not only was so excited about the project, but gave a great price considering she was making a dress pretty much from scratch! Also mind you, all she had to go on was the initial visit and an old dress of mine to follow as I live out of town. She not only had it ready on time, but I was beyond impressed with what she was able to do. I really did not know what to expect, but I am literally speechless to how it came out.
