My dog sleeps with me and I haven't seen any fleas but he is a dog after all. He uses the bathroom outside, not on a piddle pad in a crate so A flea being on him isn't out of the realm of possibility. But I was so irritated by that I turned around and left then drove across town to the dog wash on Douglas & Hillside which was WAY cheaper & snob-free! It only cost $5 to wash and dry my large dog.

We started going about a year ago when we got our new puppy. We had a terrible time with him and his allergies. He has some crazy food allergies, and these people were so nice in helping us figure out what worked for him. They even let us try food....and if it didn't work, we could bring back the partial bag for a full refund......I was shocked! We finally got him.....with the help of the great staff....on a good food that works for him. They are priced competitively with the bigger stores, but what you get here that you won't at other places is the service. Also, they have a program that if you buy 12 bags of food, the 13th is free. When I took her to the Lazy P, I was nervous at first because I had never boarded Lola before. All of my fears subsided when I met Gloria, the owner. She showed me where Lola would be staying (in her own deluxe suite) and I saw the large play area where the dogs play together. When I left Lola, I felt completely reassured that my pup would be treated like one of Gloria's own. Lola was supplied with a dog bed since I forgot to bring hers. She had plenty of toys to play with in her pen and outside in the turf area! When I returned to get Lola she was so happy and hardly wanted to leave Gloria's side! Polly came to my house the other night after a long day working at the shop to groom my sweet ol'dog which was extremely helpful, thoughtful, caring, compassionate, kind, and gracious of her.
