I have naturally red hair that unfortunately is graying and I must have it dyed. I have spent tons of money at several very expensive salons in Orange County and Los Angeles trying to find someone to do my color so I didn't look like a clown. Red is very difficult to get right and it always ends up too bright or too dark and it fades within a week. Jennifer at Salon Static cut and colored my hair and it is the best color I have ever had! It's a beautiful red that looks natural and after two weeks, the color has not faded. Jennifer also dyed my eyebrows to match my hair and then waxed them. They look great! Since I was on vacation, I also got a facial and a peel which was wonderful. The esthetician even showed me how to get rid of my tension headache through massage. The atmosphere at Salon Static is relaxing and everyone who works there is professional, personal, and a lot of fun. I ran in drenched from a sudden downpour and the male owner said, "Pick a color", and I said, "Towel, please?" and he took his sweet time bringing me one as I drip all over. What kind of hospitality is that? I also witnessed him engrossed in a movie as he gave a little girl a manicure and I am surprised he didn't cut her. The mother was oblivious! The chair massage remote would not stay on for more than five minutes and all I got was, "It is because customers drop it." How is this my problem? Why don't you buy some velcro? A mature woman had started the pedi, but only pretended to cut my cuticle. What is that? The Placebo Pedi effect? The lead girl became indignant when I asked that my pedi be done a certain way...my way. She took the womans place and it got worse. There was NO WAY I was going to ask her to cut out my corners!! I almost lost my temper when she used a course block file on the top of my big toe...I am sure it was for spite, as no professional would do this because it causes the nail to peel.
