Hidden sanctuary for a 80s mentality person. The arcade was pretty cool with some classic games and I loved the memorabilia on the walls. It's been awhile since I saw a pizzeria with the oven out in the open. The customer service was very welcoming. The pizza was great. The food is fine not the BEST but not Worse. The Ambiance is great if you love the 1980's them. The service was ok.Only reason this place is getting the review it is because of the 2 time we have ever been there we have had issues with the Customers!!!!!!! Both times they have been drunk, rude, and border line violent! If you are going to serve alcohol wouldn't you think you would stop before the regulars got like that! Their jalapeño poppers seemed to be homemade and were filled with cream cheese (something I always look for but usually it's cheddar). Then we checked out the arcade. You probably want to know about the food, however, I need to start with the theme. 80s rich is an understatement! I loved the whole thing - from the game call outs to the movie posters on the wall. There is even a small arcade attached. Regarding the food, we got a large plain pie and two orders of fries. That was enough to satisfy 4 adults, although I don't think any of us were extremely hungry. The crust was crispy and somewhat thicker than your standard thin crust and less than a thick Chicago style crust. I won't claim it is the best pizza I ever had, but I will say it was a solid choice. The fries were a bit salty, but a nice side to get with the pizza. While we did take out order, I can lightly comment on customer service. The casher was friendly and very patient. Don't be shy and feel free to ask questions. I am not out this way often and in fact this might be a one and done visit, however, I'd still recommend checking them out and would be back in the event I am in the area again. read more

I had a really hard time deciding whether to give 3 or 4 stars. The ambiance and decor was awesome, part of what led us here in the first place was the cool 80s theme we saw in the pictures. From arcade games, to VHS tapes, to movie posters to everything 80s in between it was certainly fun to come in and look around, especially if you grew up in, or just enjoy 80s culture. The service was also good, my husband really wanted a milk shake, and when we mentioned that to the lady working she mentioned the flavors shown on the menu but also others that she could make with the ingredients they had, including butterscotch which definitely caught his attention, and was good and we appreciated it, though it did seem like there were some ice chunks, like maybe the ice cream had a bit of freezer burn, we appreciated the effort though. So what is the negative you ask? Well maybe coming from WNY I am just spoiled with really good pizza, but it really was just not that good, OK at best was all I could give it. I ordered a calzone and the dough was hard, like not really even overly burnt or anything just hard like it broke in pieces. The marinara was very bland and there wasn't a lot, pretty disappointing. My husband got a piece of pizza which also wasn't flavorful and pretty greasy. He also got wings which had SOOOO many flavor options! I couldn't believe it. Again coming from WNY we know good wings, so we figured rather than getting the traditional we would try something new. We went with salt and vinegar as my husband loves the chips, and wow were they potent! The salt and vinegar flavor was really good, unfortunately the wings themselves were very chewy and rubbery and not that good. I ordered a sub and they toasted it and never asked if we wanted it toasted or not. Workers should ask if people want there subs toasted or not cause customers are always right and should be happy with what they order. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. This place was shockingly disgusting. Upon first arrival my 11 year stated "these people look like they don't wash their hands" which should have been a sign not to eat there?? The salad appeared to be discarded subway toppings that were fished out of the trash. The pizza rolls were inedible that my 8 year couldn't eat them. The chicken wings had zero flavor. My kids couldn't eat ketchup with their fries because the ketchup tasted like warm plastic. To make it even worse the bottled water was bottled tap water that tastes like it possibly came from a dirty pond. Two arcade games worked. Even the napkin dispensers were covered in grime. My husband feels like his taste buds were assaulted and he may never get the taste out of his mouth. I'm not sure how anyone could give this place more than one star. read more

This place isn't quite as amazing as I thought it would be based on the outside look but the pizza was delicious, there's arcade attached, and the guy who was working was friendly. I really expected more than a few 80's posters hanging on the wall. I do think they may have had the 80's music going too but there was much more themed stuff that could have been done. Unless I missed it, there wasn't a machine to get change for the arcade so my daughter and I only played 1 game each. We would have played more if there had been an opportunity to get quarters. When passing through Bradford, we love stopping at A Slice of the 80s. Here's why: ** I should preface this that we're from Buffalo. We live in the city that has perfected the wing, and the pizza to go along with it. So we don't come here for the food. In comparison to the level of pizza and wing quality we're used to, this place does not compare. The pizza is thin but floppy, and both light on cheese and flavor. The wings are smaller, sort of soggy, not crispy, and not warm enough after they're tossed in sauce. Maybe the sauce is kept too cold? We've had a sub too, which was just okay, fairly small. ** So we don't love the food. But we keep coming back because we do LOVE the shop itself. My hubbs and are I both 80s babies. (Well, technically I'm June '79. Close enough.) From the moment you pull up, you are sucked back into a time warp. The outside is all neon and 80s icons. Inside is decorated with all sorts of authentic 80s kitsch: records, Rubix Cubes, Cabbage Patch Kids, Carebears, authentic newspaper clippings, TV Guide covers, and more. Even the guys working the counter look like 80s dudes. There's a Pac Man machine to keep the kids occupied, and 80s jams spinnin' that adds to the nostalgia atmosphere. For rural PA, the pizza and wings are probably decent. And it's definitely decent enough to warrant chilling out at this radical, bodacious joint every once in a while. Stumbled upon this gem while looking for a place to grab a quick bite [that wasn't fast food] while driving through Bradford on a road trip. We ordered a chicken philly specialty pizza (just around $15) and it was the bomb! Came out piping hot, the ingredients all felt really fresh, and it was tasty - hit the spot like whoa. Not only was the food great, but so was the service. The lady at the counter was very helpful and friendly, and even wished us well as we were leaving the establishment. Totally gave us that 5-star feel! And I would be remiss not to mention the restaurant's namesake, the awesome 80s theme - anyone fond of the 80s (and especially 90s kids like myself) will no doubt enjoy the trek down memory lane/blast from the past this little place provides! I'm not a local, but this place had my heart before I even stepped foot inside. Such a cool concept. I had an order of wings. They were average. Sauce was good. I also had a sausage calzone and it was delicious! The dough was nice and soft. I ate in, and there really wasn't any kind of table service. I got up to ask for a drink refill, which I'm ssuming is normal. We stopped in while passing through town on a road trip, and glad we did. Pizza: Seems to be quality ingredients and sauce is on the sweeter side (a good thing). This place has the best pizza in Bradford. They were voted the best pizza in town but my entire family says they suck. In my opinion they are very good. The only think is that the service is very slow. I really like there cheese and pepperoni because I'm very picky but they have a huge variety of pizza. A very cool small town spot in Bradford, PA. We stopped in after a morning in Allegheny State Park, and were most certainly hungry after hiking. As the name implies, the place has a very 80's setting, with throwback magazines, albums, and toys adorning the walls. Its got pretty typical pizza shop fare- and I was very happy with my order of pizza logs. Chicken fingers were nothing special. Great selection of beers and ciders as well! All in the bottle. For a 16 inch cheese pizza we paid under $12 which combined with friendly service and great taste gives this Pizzaria a 5-star rating! PIZZA: - we decided to stick with a simple cheese. It was a moderately flat crust with just the right amount of cheese sprinkled with what looked like and taste like oregano and contain the right amount of sweet sauce. If I lived nearby I would definitely try their PB&J Pizza, chicken and broccoli alfredo pizza, and the Buffalo Pizza. DRINKS: - I always appreciate a place that has a good selection of not only child friendly carbonation but those adult Bubbles as well. There was an entire cooler filled with many different selections of beers for $2+ well as a bucket of featured seasonal beers for $1.75. Absolutely the best cheese steak I've had since moving from Philly 30 years ago. Every meal I have had here has been top noch. The place is run by the owner of the best sit down dinner in town Beefeaters so it's no suprise but woth mentioning. It's worth the trip. read more
