Prices are a little high from my experience but the service was great! They had lots of items to choose from. Some very lovely pieces.

These people are thieves. We hired them to do estate sale and they kept no records of the items…read moresold or for what price. We had a 5 bedroom home full of upscale furniture and all the decor complete kitchen wares for the house complete line sets and many toys and book and a box of antiques. They told us we made $3334 . They took thier 30% cut and charged us $440 for clean up and donation. We got $2045. We had to help run stuff to donation places because she did not set up the pick up. I cleaned the lower level of my house. We found out from buyers we know that they were discouraging credit card payments by tacking on service charge. Do not hire these people. And when you hire any company have in writing that they provide an itemized list from sale of items and if your local go everyday to get cash count and payment total.

My mother died in late September. My 84 year old step father hired Quintana to hold an estate sale…read moreof my mother's belongings. My mom lived in a historic home and it contained many antiques and other items she had been collecting for 84 years. We have never had an estate sale and don't know the rules, legality, etc. From the onset we witnessed things that made us uncomfortable. My stepfather witnessed several times Quintana carting things out to her car in large black bags. She told him she was throwing things out. We also witnessed her selling things to her family members. A very nice washer/dryer set that she sold to one her family member for $350. A silver silverware set that she sold to a cousin. We feel they got deep discounts, then we paid a 30% commission on top of that. She was very vague anytime my husband or family member asked how the sale was going. Again, we don't understand the process as she never explained or gave my stepfather a contract explaining how an estate sale works. When the sale started all the proceeds went into her Venmo/Paypal or bank account. When we asked after day one how it went, she wouldn't say. We are very uncomfortable with her co-mingling our funds from the estate sale into her account. How are we to know what exactly went into her account. We only have her word of what was actually made. There is no way we can know if we were cheated. We feel very uneasy about the whole process. There needs to be a more transparent process. Quintana said the whole sale only made $4710.25. After her 30%, we only netted $3297.17 to be split between my sister and me. My sister has yet to receive her check. Please beware if you use this company. Get a contract and keep a watchful eye on everything. Where is my sisters check Quintana?

I recently shopped an Estate sale ran by Art Spears. I feel that his Estate Sales are ran very…read moreunprofessionally. Art runs around like a chicken with his head cutoff not really seeming to know what is going on. Most things are not priced and when you ask for a price he seems very annoyed. The lady at the checkout isn't much more help either. She doesn't know anything and has to yell at Art to get a questioned answered or to take a payment. When I asked for help looking for a cord for a computer I was told they were in a box to just go look by non other than Art Spears himself. I found the cord myself (not in any box nearby as Art had pointed me in the direction of) found a place to plug it up without any assistance from Art or any of his helpers. When i asked him for a price on a desk that clearly was not priced he asked what would I give he said, "$1,000 I laughed and all he said was, "Well, now we know what you won't give!!" The desk may have been $100 at any other Estate Sale. He never gave me a reasonable price. I proceeded to the checkout with the computer that he did have marked for $40; the lady at checkout sat there fussing with Art because she had asked him for a price prior to me coming up to check out. She argued with him that he had told her $50; so at that point he began making up any kind of excuse to get himself out of his predicament. When the checkout lady found out that it was an ALL in One HP Desktop she again yells at ART asking if he knew that it was a complete computer and not just a monitor to which he walks over and tells me that I was deceiving them by trying to purchase the computer for the price they marked without telling them that it was a complete computer; I wasn't even sure if the computer was going to work or not. Art stood there accusing me of being deceitful; practically yelling at me out in public in front of all of the other patrons of this estate sale. He takes a marker and right in front of me; at the checkout counter changes the price from $40 to $100!!! His manner and professionalism is very negative! Typically I would not post this however as I was walking away the checkout lady told Art that I would probably give them a bad review so I aim to please. This was the WORST Estate Sale experience that I have ever had. Avoid his sales if at all possible.
