We sent the deposit over and she stopped responding after receiving the deposit. Called numerous times, texted and left Facebook messages as the sale was over marketplace. Everything was lined up to meet on Sunday, April 12th, 2026: 475 miles from our location, 950 mile round trip. Truck and trailer, everything was ready. Only for her, not to respond back through any form of contact. Avoid this company, I did research prior to reaching out to her about the sawmill. Though the Yelp reviews did not pop up when I initially searched for the company. I had to copy and paste her phone number to pull up the reviews.

I went into the shed and was looking at a plastic drill bit tower where I couldn't get the doors open. The staff member gentleman worked on it for a few minutes and was able to open it for me. What a nice guy so I said I would get. As I turned to walk out with it out of the clear blue an out-of-control short old man staff member ripped it out of my hands pulling me off balance and put it back on the shelf. The staff member gentleman who helped me get the doors open apologized. I told the short spoiled brat old man he was ignorant and lucky he wasn't on the floor. He then attempted to go after me and wanted to fight. I stood there for a minute as the staff member gentleman stopped him and told Bob, (which is the short old man staff members name) to stop. I walked away. The sheer irrationality of spoiled Bob was astounding, and I can't believe they actually hired employees like spoiled old man Bob. Bob was very lucky as he was stopped, or it would have ended very badly for him and is very lucky I didn't call the police as Bob committed the FELONIOUS offense of ROBBERY which the Alabama statutes like most states' statutes require the elements of the offense is the use of FORCE or the threat of FORCE to deprive property from a person which spoiled brat Bob committed. Be careful at their estate sales as out of control Bob may commit another FELONY. I can't believe Sublett's Heirloom Estate Sales hired this guy who is a total liability as someone will get hurt in the future by this irrational spoiled brat.

Lindsey Hanback is a scam artist and will sell you a home even if it's a piece of garbage while lying about the value, covering up flaws, and straight up intentionally leaving out vital information. My wife and I bought a home with faulty sewage, with an open complaint with the Morgan County Health Department. We only discovered this about a week after we bought the house, when we received a call. Turns out Lindsey just failed to mention it, despite having talked on the phone directly with the Morgan County Health Department. She just ignored it and sold us the home anyways with a huge price tag, and now we have to pay a bunch of money we can't afford to run a new sewage line. But hey at least Lindsey got her money, right? Don't buy from this agency.

As with any older house there were some problems with it that were dealt with VERY quickly - some shingles blew off in a bad storm and the next day there was a tarp on it, and within a week or two new shingles. The AC went out three times and each time it was fixed within a few days at the most. They handled any repairs so I never had to be there to let anybody in or out and thus miss work. Holloway and Associates was organized and timely when it came to paperwork. I used the online portal for paying rent at the end though in the beginning I paid at the office, getting to know the friendly front desk staff who even fed me at their Christmas party one year when I was dropping off rent. The reason I moved was due to the home owner deciding to sell - I was given advance notice and they worked with me through the exit process. I never paid rent late once and left the house clean. I got my full deposit back. Having been at the new house about two months and adjusting to my new leasing company I will say that I really miss Karnice and her staff and wish I would have rented from them again!
