So I came into spray of rays for a training spray. It's my first time doing any kind of spray tan so I wasn't looking to pay alot. The place is a small quite shop, with a gift shop of sorts in the front with skin care and swim suits. I was greeted at the door with a big smile from the workers. Crystal is the nice woman I made my appointment with, and I'm glad I did. She is so professional and nice, and pretty understanding when I was running a few mins late. She took her time to really make sure I was covered evenly. Since it was my first time, she could tell I was nervous, but she helped me feel comfortable pretty quickly. She made sure to talk with me as she sprayed me to make sure I was comfortable and also to just let me know what she was doing and why she was doing it that way. But the end of it, she let me know everything I need to know for after care, and I was so comfortable that I made another appointment. I'm excited to not have a farmers tan anymore. Tanned cellulite is less noticeable than the lily white kind...which is why I've tanned since a teenager. These days I prefer protecting my skin, but still like the tanned look. Insert "A Spray of Rays" and Jena! I started my search, as usual, here in Yelp. This time using the "Project" option. Jena (owner extraordinaire) responded immediately. She answered my bazillion questions and was the friendliest person I have met in Vegas. She offered to come spray at my home, but I wanted to come in to the studio and check the place out. I easily made my appointment online and Jena even offered to come in on her day off, since we connected so quickly. Plus, I wanted to meet this happy faced woman I'd enjoyed conversing with. Complete instructions were given via appointment confirmation email and text. I prepped and drove to the studio, finding it pretty easy to park. Jena met me with the biggest smile and greeting right at my car, since I looked lost. Then she proceeded to show me around the entire facility, where a fitness center and massage & other businesses are housed separately. The tanning studio was posh, clean and super neat. The spray tan took about 10-15 minutes and Jena made sure to prep or avoid or spray lightly the spots that tend to soak up too much color (like hands, feet, etc). Also available in the studio are lotions to extend the life of your tan. I decided to purchase one and try it at home later. I've really enjoyed the light developing color of the purchased home tanner. But not near as much as the delightful conversation and amazing color Jena applied. She made me feel completely comfortable and in good hands. I know, you may think you're too old for a spray tan. NOPE, to the NO NO. I'm 50+ and found this experience enjoyable and worth every penny. Plus, it was much easier, quicker and kinder to my skin than laying in the Nevada sun baking for hours. This is a much better use of your valuable time. Please try them out. read more

I rarely get spray tans and have only done so in LA, only because I have naturally olive skin, but I wanted a bit of color to wear dresses with some confidence. First of all, we don't really need to talk about how AMAZINGLY CONVENIENT it is that Jena is MOBILE and comes to your house! It makes it so easy to shower and exfoliate and wah lah! She's there, spray tans you and is in and out in 10 mins (unless you talk a lot like us) ... the color is THE perfect golden tan that looks completely natural.
