They also helped up purchase the right pin adapter for our hitch so that we are set for future trailer rentals. This worked great for the activity that we had, hauling instruments for college students to perform at an outdoor holiday concert. We arrived back with the trailer 24 hours later and the check-in process was swift and easy. I anticipate we will be back for the same activity in 2023.

When I arrived on site, magically, nothing about my reservation was accurate and the salesman, Jesse, lied to me and said they require "safe move" if renting a truck. Also since my reservation and check in which i did over the app did not exist I did not bring my ID. Not only did Jesse require I add safe move to my rental, I was also sent back home for my physical ID because my state issued didgital ID was not good enpough. I thought everything about my experience was fishy as I rent uhauls often and this is the first I had heard ever heard this. So today one day after the rental-I called the location as I wanted to give them an opportunity to right the wrong. The manager I spoke with (lady) informed me yes, that location does require it, doubling down on the what I hav come to find out was a lie. I then called U-Haul's customer corporate service to find out what the truth was. U-Haul corporate apologized , informed me no customer is ever required to add insurance for any of their rentals and refunded my money for the insurance. I pull up at 4:53 and attempt the online pick up process from my phone and get an error saying to call this number so I call and I'm on hold so I figure we'll hook up the trailer so it's ready by the time cust service resolves the issue I'll be able to just head out. after we get the thing all hitched up and ready to roll, the lady working had been there the whole time with the lights off inside watching us hook up, she waits til after 5 and comes out to say we need to unhook the trailer because only trucks are eligible for the 24-7 pick up and that they're now closed...she sat inside with the lights off the open sign off the whole time so we wouldn't think to go inside. She then comes out and says shes late to pick up her kids and can't help us that we'd have to come back tomorrow at 9AM!! In my line of work, 9 am is basically lunch time, the day is almost half gone by then so needless to say, this chicks shady act to avoid doing her job gets a big fat 1 star!!!

For a reasonable fee, they lent me 50 sturdy plastic totes and delivered them to my previous residence. Two weeks later, they came to my new home and picked up the boxes. The whole process was affordable, convenient, and easy. Best of all, my new neighbors don't get to see me screaming obscenities at the tattered remains of a wimpy cardboard box.
