Very high prices, limited selection. Some clerks are friendly, others stare at the floor.

I came in with the $10 off $25 purchase coupon & she acted annoyed immediately when i handed it to her. Then when I noticed something rang up different from the shelf tag she copped an enormous attitude & told me it didn't matter as I was already getting $10 off. I asked her to check with the manager who was thankfully very kind & adjusted the price and I let him know that it was appreciated. Then as I'm paying she rudely tells me that I was taking advantage of the situation! What?! I told her I did not appreciate her attitude & she sarcastically said she was just reciprocating! So she admitted she was being rude to me on purpose! Then when I asked her about stamping the green stamp paper she said very aggressively -"definitely not", because she had bagged my stuff & i used a credit card! I had specifically told her I would grab my own box when she was ringing me up and at no point did I tell her to use a bag! I was being so patient with her snarky attitude until that point & then I was done! I told her I wanted to lodge a complaint with the manager & that set her off even more! I could tell the manager didn't really care, he looked tired. No apology for how i was treated, barely any acknowledgement. Beyond disappointing customer service! I have only been in 2 times previously, but this is definitely my last time shopping here! There are too many other stores that I would rather spend my money! I don't deserve to be spoken to & treated like that! If you don't want people to come in & use the coupons, then don't waste the money advertising & printing them in the paper for people to use! You may want to reconsider having someone like Christi interacting with customers if you want to stay in business. You have definitely lost my family's business! 5/29/25. 5:45pm

As far as Super Savers go, this one is just fine. I've noticed as the weekdays go on the bakery doesn't stay as stocked with the bagels, but the donut selection is always chock full with a wide selection. (The frosted sprinkle ones are my favorite.) I have to say that there's one cashier who works in the mornings who is the definition of great customer service. Incredibly friendly, helpful, and cheerful which is perfect for the morning shift and greeting folks who are going about their day. I wish some of the other cashiers that are scheduled that early--and even earlier--had that same kind of pleasant demeanor. Who knows, maybe that's why they're scheduled when there's hardly any customers. Otherwise, the prices here are again, what you'd expect from a Super Saver. They have good deals depending on what you're looking for, and it's convenient if you work in that area and need something quick or want to make a longer grocery stop.

The prices aren't bad especially if you purchase the Whole Foods 365 brand. I love how they offer self serve samples. There's always a ton of employees to help. This location has a great amount of parking and it's conveniently located across the mall, surrounded by other shops. The only thing I would criticize is how this location does not make fresh sandwiches. Today I stopped by the deli section and was told they don't make them fresh. However, they do sell already made sandwiches in a specific section. I was bummed about this because I love wholefoods sandwiches. The ones that have been sitting out aren't as good. I ended up buying a slice of pizza for my toddler. I asked if they could warm it up but the employee told me I could with the microwave up front, near the cashiers. I've been to many other locations where they simply helped me heat up the slice in the open oven right behind them. They also don't sell freshly made coffee. I'm sad this location doesn't do this as well. I'll end on a positive note; they recently added family meals for $35, which includes two sides and two proteins. It's such a great deal and you can use this to meal prep ahead of time. It's also a convenient option when you don't feel like cooking. Just pop the food in the oven and you're good to go.

When talking with customer service, they said that I would only be able to get a refund if I brought back all of my groceries (that are already used) to return and then purchase on the gift card. The staff was not knowledgeable and I am now out of money because of this situation. It's very frustrating.

This year I noticed a new trend in the bakery. My birthday was last month and my cake came from Russ's at 33rd and Nebraska Parkway. My daughter picked up the cake and noticed it was a single layer 8" round cake. That's the first single layer round cake I've ever had in my 67 years. My daughter had her birthday a month later. I ordered the cake from Super Saver on 27 th and Pine Lake Rd and told them explicitly double layer German Chocolate cake, 8" round. I picked it up today and it was a single layer 8" round cake. The person working told me she split a single layer to add the frosting. Now I'm really questioning who on earth wants a single layer round cake? I think this trend looks cheap and it's very disappointing and embarrassing to pick up such a small cake. I think I'm done ordering cakes here.

( I used my ATM card to pay. ( Because charging groceries can be a very bad habit.) Not thrilled. Stopped by today for bread, milk and wine. One bag. I figured Russ's is ok for pick-up shopping. But their machine wouldn't accept my chip. It also didn't like my magnetic strip. So I had to go home and get my Visa Card. I couldn't get cash back, of course, since I used a charge card. Because I'm new in town, I don't have a local bank. Getting cash back at the grocery store is my way of obtaining cash. I have shopped at A Street Market, Super Saver, Hy-Vee and Trader Joe's. My card works fine there. Needless to say, I shan't be back. Their prices are as high as Hy-Vee anyway so it's not a loss for me. The cashier told me they won't let us take the. Grocery carts out because they have no corrals in the parking lot. But I don't like being forced to tip the bag boy for rolling out my groceries when I am capable of doing it. ( Also note: in Lincoln, Nebraska everybody returns carts. )
