It had been many years since it was cleaned. The technician arrived slightly early and got straight to work. He seemed knowledgeable and had all the necessary tools and supplies. After getting under the house, he quickly determined that the odor was coming from the laundry area, not the dryer vent. It was the foul smell of a skunk. The dryer vent was indeed in need of cleaning; reassembling the ductwork, he used screws and tape, so I feel it's very serviceable. The gentleman was considerate and flexible because I asked him to give our wood insert chimney a mid-season cleaning. Having a strong draw is essential since it provides over 60% of our heat. They came over and managed to aerate and Thatch, but never edge the yard. Had to call them multiple times to get them to come back and edge the yard. They also weed wacked the cheat grass instead of pulling it and left the remains all over the landscaping. When I asked them to come back and finish the job they said they thought the cheat grass was from the neighbors and they ran out of time to complete the hop vine removal. Terrible company who is trying to do the least amount of effort with zero quality or attention to detail. They also gave us a bill $100 higher than the estimate because it took them more time than they thought to pick up piles of pine needles after we spent 30 minutes going over all the tasks we wanted the night they gave us the estimate. They're lazy and not quality oriented.

You have to sign contract (which I did not mind) and pay for 12 months but only get service for 7 months. The major problem owner of company does not follow the contract you sign and when you question him either he ignores your problems or as have happened two times he blows up and tells you it not his fault or problem. This year it happened because a piece of equipment failed and our lawn did not get thatched when asked him to complete the job he got angry and told us it was not his fault and he did nothing wrong, now our lawn looks very bad and most likely will have to have two sections completey redone. Also on the year end clean up the crew showed up at 7am lawn was frozen so they could not do much except rake the area without grass. Crew leader said they would have to come back when lawn thawed to finish. No one has showed or called to let us know when the job will be finished ----- did find out that owner fired the entire crew of his company. But stilled being billed for contract!
