We wanted several retaining walls in our very sloped backyard, which falls into a small creek in…read moretown, near 5th Street Area. We interviewed three companies and Alex came in the middle with high quality stone, others were $$$ (thousands) higher or lower with either landscape timber (not long term) or old school cinder block. Very responsive, returned emails, worked with hubby for details. Started right away. The walls are BEAUTIFUL, both exactly where we wanted and mostly to the scale we want. Took a little over a week, guys (team of 3) came on time every day, even weekend to finish around rain. Big project! Only concern AND comment was the cleanup. Guys tried to put damaged front lawn back, did reseed and give us extra seed and straw. BUT feel if this is a lawn care company, preferred to have ruts in yard, from use of heavy equipment, leveled out, and help with more reseed as we had to finish the rest ourselves. So a bit disappointed in final cleanup. Quality of work is excellent and walls look just like we expected. (hubby will be adding to lower wall, himself, to get a bit more length as we had expected it to be taller overall, not just a bump in middle - a 16" wall should be at least 14" feet high everywhere not just 8" bump in middle.) Would definitely recommend them, Alex, just be firm and keep an eye on finishing and communicate that from beginning.
