He struggled to open the aluminum railing packages so I gave him a kitchen knife to open them. He unpacked 2 of the 7 railing packages and wanted to see what needed to be done on the front porch also. He then said he had to leave for 15 minutes to get a special saw to cut the railings to size and would be right back. I knew at that point he would not return because he lives at least 30 minutes away. He left, never returned and has yet to answer my November 26th query about his return. Once started they spent a lot of time and care prepping everything from the cleaning all wood surfaces to taking care of a lot of carpenter bee damage (damn those things) as well as repairing some wood pecker damage. We had some rot damage areas that took us a full year to get repaired after they had finished everything else and they immediately came back out and completed the job. It looks excellent now.
