Terrific experience at UP so far. We just started shifting back to the gym after outdoor workouts…read more In 10 weeks I've lost about 10% body fat. But more importantly, I've been feeling good in my body again - more energetic, stronger, mobile, confident. The training team really looks after all the little details and you can literally see the improvement day by day. I've done lots of training programs previously and ended up with little results or injuries; the program at UP is a proven approach and it's awesome to see such rapid change. I never thought a six pack would be something I'd achieve but in fact its just a few weeks away!

We don't care about being your friend - that's a bonus, that's nice to have. Our trainers don't have hyphenated careers (i.e. actors-models-dancers-trainers), their sole focus is to help clients achieve results. They all work full-time for us and don't get involved in anything else that could distract them from their overarching goal of maximising the client's return on their investment of time and money. That's why our private gyms are just for our clients. We are not for everyone. We are only for those people who want to make a commitment to changing their bodies. We get results, plain and simple. In the land of the fitness gimmick, you may not believe all our sensational before-and-afters, in which case you'll have to believe in grand conspiracies because we've literally hundreds of photos and videos to choose from - all from people who train for three weeks or more.

This is one of the better health city locations. Too bad it is so far from just about everything…read more There is a lot of weights for the heavy lifters and also a lot of machines for aerobics. Plenty of classes available, from yoga to spinning. Downstairs they also have a chef who can cook you up a post workout meal. This saunas and hot tub area is just like going to a bath house, but it's included in the membership. This is the best addition to this location and really makes it worth the trip. By far my favorite HealthCity location. It's just too bad it is so far from home and even in the opposite direction from work.

The gym itself is very nice and has a lot of equipment and classes. However the saleswoman Noor is…read moreterrible, very flippant, not at all helpful, basically doesn't seem like she wants to do her job at all. Specifically I showed up with a friend who had done a tour the week before and I wanted to use the wellness area. I had a tote bag purse that was obviously not full and she stated that I could not wear a swimsuit, as if I should have come in fully nude (I was in work out clothes) I already knew this and said ok. The website states over and over that this is an all inclusive club, it also mentions towels and robe service which I assumed was included. I wasn't offered during the above conversation to rent a robe or towels. I also wasn't offered a tour of the facilities. I went upstairs to the locker room (that my friend told me where they were not the sales person) and took 10 minutes trying to figure out the lock, when I was finally successful, I wandered around trying to locate towels and robes, they weren't there. I went back down the stairs and stood at the front desk so I could ask someone, the first employee didn't really understand what I meant, she was very polite and tried but asked me to wait while she got Noor. I stood out there another couple minutes and eventually Noor moseyed out with her freshly made cup of coffee (because customers should always wait for employees to do personal things), I asked for a Robe and Towels, she looked at me like I was an Alien from another planet, so I repeated myself. She notified me that towels and robes could be rented in a very snotty way, didn't offer to rent them to me, didn't tell me what the rental price was. I unfortunately also was very annoyed at this point as she seemed to be going out of her way to be unhelpful and replied that isn't what the website said and also isn't "all inclusive". To be fair the website can be taken both ways but she could've been polite. So I went back to the locker room, grabbed my bag and went back downstairs and sat in the lobby for about 30ish minutes while my friend finished up. We went to join up, she asked how our time was I responded with Terrible, I was ignored. My friend grabbed the paperwork because overall the facility was very nice and we figured we would never have to speak to her again. We sat down to fill out the paperwork and after about 15 minutes she came back over and in what I'm sure she thought was a huge display of generosity said for that this 1 time only she could give us free robes and towels, keep in mind this was 45 minutes later from when I originally asked for them. I said no I didn't want them, I was hungry and wanted to leave. She then started to offer again and I stated that she should have offered them when I asked. She then told me that it was my fault because I didn't give her a chance to. I guess sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes didn't give her a chance or when we went for the papers 15 minutes before or I dunno offering to rent them to us in the very beginning or being nice instead of rude when I actually asked. We would have happily paid for a robe and towel rental, we would have totally signed up but telling a customer that they are responsible for the employees bad behavior by the employee is a major deal breaker. So they lost 140 eur a month in membership fees.
