I went in for a pedicure. I wanted the basic pedicure with callus remover. When I went to pay, it was $73. The most expensive pedicure I have ever had now I am home and my feet hurt like crazy. Horrible experience. I booked an appointment and waited over an hour. There was no apology or discount offered. One of the male technicians who was filing my nail, was rushing and cut my finger in two places so I had to ask him to stop and have someone else take over. The tools were rusty and if you look closely around your seat, the floor and tools are dusty and non sterile. My nails were rushed due to them double booking my appointment, and the gel was thick, lumpy and broke a few days later. The owner texted me asking where my tip was which I thought was incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing. Cleanliness and nail quality is very poor unfortunately. read more

Update: I've since returned per recommendation from a coworker when asking around for the best salon's in our neighborhood. It's so fun to be in this salon, from the staff, to the music, to the TV set up. They do an excellent job. My acrylics are always evenly applied and not chunky. They clean up all the edges and under nail very well. They also have the most insane selection of all the coolest trendy colors. They even fixed one nail for free of charge when I came back from it snapping off (I'm hard on my nails, no fault of theirs). I also did not mention in my original review that I had brought my best friend here for her wedding nails during that visit. They did a stellar job with a French and pearl studded look. I've noticed this place has really gone downhill the past few visits. Appointments never start on time, which isn't a dealbreaker, but it's important to know if you're on a schedule. My pedicure is split between two people and has been the past few times, one does the treatment, and a man that paints the nails, but I often leave with dead skin still on my feet and a paint job that shows visible strokes. The "upgrade" for a massage is barely more than a light rub, so it doesn't feel worth it. I love the overall experience of going out for a pedicure, but honestly, I'd rather just paint my own nails at home to save the money. The guy who did them was really sweet but his techniques were questionable to say the least. And everytime I mentioned concerns he said he's a nail artist and has decades of experience. . . Yikes. Shaping was way off, they're WAY too thick, he filed them way shorter than I asked for, the polish is uneven and my fingertips are COVERED in nail glue. I have to go out of town in two days and I literally want to cry. Unclean practices. Extremely poor quality nails & way overpriced for what you get. I moved into the area a few months ago and I've been going to A to Z nails. I've been a constant satisfied customer and happy with their services. Yesterday I booked a manicure and pedicure and it was the first time I didn't feel welcome or treated well. My pedicure was wonderful as always but the woman who did my manicure... 1. It was my first time interacting with her, she definitely didn't seem happy that I chose to leave my nails bare. And even if I don't speak the language, a person obviously knows when they're being talked about. 2. Continuously tapping the back of my hand instead of talking to me like a person, and explaining what you wanted from me (ie, place your hand here, place your hand over there) is rude. I cannot read your mind, and like I said to you "how am I supposed to know what you want, if you just tap my hand vs telling me". 3. When a customer like myself comes in, there's an understanding that a service will be provided and a payment made. Since visiting A to Z nails in Littleton, I've never asked for a discount on services because I understand it's a transaction- so asking me if I'm going to tip/if I did tip you/your coworker is not only audacious, but also very tacky. A transaction was completed (service=payment), whether there's a tip or not has nothing to do with the service/payment and asking me so loudly, so blatantly and so unprofessionally, is incredibly rude and makes you look tawdry and makes me question the establishment. This is a great place to get a mani/ pedi! It took me a long time to find a place I liked after my nail tech moved. Once I found A2Z, I knew this was it! Everyone here is great and does a great job when my sisters and I go in for pedicures and nails. My tech, Tim, is amazing! He takes his time to make sure my nails are amazing and gives a really nice hand and arm massage when he is done. He also gives the best pedicures i have ever had! 0 stars!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience at A2Z Nails & Lashes @Mineral, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I booked a lash refill service through ClassPass for 1:30 pm, but was called by Shannon, the lash tech, and told to come at 6:30 pm instead. She initially told me to come at 6, then changed it to 6:30. Later, I received a text saying her 5 pm appointment was running late and she wanted to reschedule me for the next day. Since I'm getting married tomorrow, that wasn't an option for me. When I arrived at 6:30 pm for my appointment, Shannon told me she wouldn't be able to do my lashes until 8 pm. I expressed how unprofessional it was to be canceled on last minute, especially at the time of my appointment, and neither Shannon nor the owner offered any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Not once was I offered an explanation or a sincere apology for the multiple changes to my appointment, nor was I shown any empathy for the situation I was in. To make matters worse, Shannon insulted me by implying I was "broke" for booking through ClassPass and even said, "We don't care about ClassPass clients." I was shocked and humiliated, especially since this was all said in front of a crowded salon. The lack of professionalism, respect for my time, and overall rude behavior was appalling. Clearly, they prioritize overbooking clients rather than delivering a good experience. I will never give them my business again, either through ClassPass or otherwise. Woohoo! After trying (in vain) to wear my natural nails with gel polish I've gone back to acrylics. My nails are just too thin and sad to not have that stability. Tom has the BEST hands for massage-- great deluxe pedicure. My friend had Mary for pedicure, and she was great, too. Tim is a great nail artist and dipped my natural nails (see pic). John did my fingers and they look amazing, I can't remember the lady's name that did my toes, but she was very sweet, just didn't speak English as far as I know, so there was a little bit of a barrier. I was looking for somewhere to get ombré nails and I think these turned out great! They aren't exactly what I showed a picture of, but still are amazing! Didn't have any problems and my nails look great. This was the most I've paid for a mani/pedi ($120), but considering I got acrylic ombré nails and gel pedicure, I think it was worth it! Today was my first experience at A2Z, NOT impressed at all. I was scheduled for a mani and pedi and after taking an hour and 15 minutes to complete a pedicure I decided to opt out of manicure. The pedicure, I had to ask for my toe nails to be trimmed, filed, and buffed out. I know that sounds high maintaintence but isn't that part of a pedicure????? I work hard on a daily basis and to take time and spend money on myself is rare, but when I do I expect professionalism and the common courtesy to know that as a consumer I'm also helping you pay the bills. Act like I'm a customer and do a good job. I paid $45.00 plus gratuity for a pedicure that I'm going to redo myself. Lesson learned.............. do it yourself. read more

Nail tech burned me repeatedly with file!!! I got my nails done here with my friend by a gentleman whose name I didn't catch (wearing USA hat). First I'm talking with my friend and looking at samples when he sternly tells me to quickly pick a nail color and he pulls my hand toward him to file. Then he clearly ignored what I was trying to tell him I would like on my nails, I wanted an ombré of 5 different pinks for each nail. After numerous attempts to tell him this, he starts pointing at a random glitter and saying something. I asked him multiple times to please repeat because I can be hard of hearing. Instead of going to get someone who could help us communicate better he just goes silent. Then he brings out the glitter nobody asked for and starts putting that as the ombré ‍ I correct him that I don't want or like the glitter and just decide to go with just one pink as it was easier to tell him. Then I'm talking with my friend and he starts burning/scarping my cuticles! (of which he never even trimmed--one of the reasons I LOVE getting my nails done). The nail tech starts telling me I'm moving too much. Now...I know I tend to nod my head when people talk to me and he had told me ever since I sat down to be still so I was really trying my hardest not to move and just stare ahead. He still burned my skin when I was looking straight ahead of him. I don't typically write reviews but I kind of had to get this off my chest.
