I'm constantly washing duvets roughly every two weeks and the machines here are perfect for washing larger items such as this. There is an 8kg or 18kg washing machine with a 18kg dryer that's perfect for what l need. Good value laundry and reliable.

This laundry is only a few minutes' walk away, open seven days/week, and for £24 (cash-only), she washed, dried, folded, AND delivered our laundry to the hotel (sealed in plastic)! It was a terrific time-saver to be able to leave the laundry and spend our final day in Glasgow doing fun stuff rather than sit and wait for a wash and dry. We had one load of laundry, all washed (our choice, cold water) and dried together (10 pairs of socks, ten underwear, six t-shirts, one cotton dress).

The fabric had been pulled on multiple spots. I went back and Reza agreed to repair them. They did look better after the repair, but I still needed to spend an hour when I got back home to trim pieces of frayed & pulled fabric & use a bobble remover to get the suits back into a wearable condition. Reza refused to take accountability, making up excuses about this just being wear & tear (the worst affected suits were worn once for a wedding) or that I can't prove they weren't in this state before I handed them in. Out of the 12 years I've been using dry cleaners, I've never had my suits damaged in this way and the gaslighting was unreal. If you choose to go here, I'd take photos of your clothes inside & out beforehand, pay with a credit card for buyer protection, and take your time to inspect the clothes at the shop when you pick them up.

I popped in and was shown to the large machine in the very back. No coins needed, he operated the machine for me and told me to come back in 50 minutes, since I was going to take it home to dry. I came back and he had popped my duvet in the dryer for a few minutes, so it wouldn't be so heavy for me to carry home! It was £7.00 for the wash, plus 50p for detergent and fabric softener. Next time I'll bring my own detergent, as theirs is heavily scented. I thought it was so nice to give it a head-start on drying in their machines. After I paid, he rolled the duvet up and put it in a plastic bag for me to carry home. I'm so pleased with this new place and the great service. There's no sign on the door, but I found the company name on some flyers inside. FYI: He quoted me £3 for the dryers.

It can easily absorb a full baths worth of water, and took 4 days to dry when I last attempted to wash it at home... When I tried it on before the wedding the dress was completely unwearable, the leg split was in the middle of the dress revealing far too much and the strap was in the centre of the dress, which dug into my neck. The seam was unfinished and began to unravel immediately. I had to order a new dress and pay for next day delivery to have something to wear for the wedding. They also refused to give me a refund for the alteration or pay for the new dress. I would not recommend this place for any alterations, the whole experience suggests they don't know what they're doing.

Said garment thought it fun to fit me everywhere but the waist, but dangled a ass fitting carrot (maybe not the best choice of words) in front of me by having a good inch, inch and a half to play with (again with the word choice) at the back seam. To this place I ventured with a recommendation from the most glamourous Lottie Lou (of Decourcys fame) that they had an hour service. Time was certainly of the essence so I popped in, dropped off the trous and relocated to the nearest wife toting coffee shop to continue my daily chores. When the old aye phone tinkled a mere 45mins later, I never at once expected it to be a text from these guys informing me that the work had been completed and was ready for my imminent pick up. Job done apparently. Popped back. Picked up the pants. All good in the hood/waist. In short then. These guys promised a service and they delivered. Sold. I will be using you again.
