I wasn't worried because I know FX stands by their work, so I went to see them and let them know of my issue. They told me that there's no way to get that fixed reliably, and that I can have them remove the tint over the back window over the dot matrix and get it coated with an opaque vinyl. They warned, however, that it would likely damage my radio, so I'd have to be comfortable with the risk. Guys - if a part of your work isn't going to turn out, your customer should know about this before swiping their credit cards. If they raise an issue, saying "we can fix our mistake but it may screw up your car" isn't customer service. You're supposed to make it right. I'd stay away, go to somewhere that will be transparent with you from the jump.

I have used their services several times since 2011 and never had an issue till yesterday when I…read moregave them new Cadillac Optiq for front windows tinting. I think its new management now. They promised to match the color of the back windows but they did not do. When I questioned, instead of rectifying the issue, they said they will remove the film and give the money back, Knowing, they are going to damage the car, i refused. They tried to convince me the color looks different because there is light reflection from the windshield and that's the reason it looks different. Then they started arguing with me accusing me of drinking and driving and said will call Cops on me, and I said go ahead. Then they used a racial slur on me, calling me DIRTY INDIAN, which is despicable. later I called them on the phone to let them know the color difference is evident when I look from inside of the car, and then they said its because the rear windows are factory tinted and that's why they cant match the color. Why would they not say this to me at the time of giving the order. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, especially for the racial traetment. Am I still living in CANADA.

After reading reviews of other tinting companies, I chose Mr Tint because their business has a website, they were able to provide a verbal quote over the phone and I was able to book an appointment time in advance. It took roughly 2 hours to tint 3 windows which is the time that was estimated. The "Do not roll down windows" stickers were really useful during the setting period which they recommend 3 to 5 days. I am 100% satisfied with the final result and would highly recommend Mr Tint. Pros Able to make an appointment in advance, the owner uses Whatsapp. Free wifi in customer lounge. They provided a 10year warranty. For windshields they said this warranty does not apply, as windshields are not allowed to have any tinting according to Ontario laws. Cons The technician stuck 3 stickers directly onto my odometer, which I certainly did not appreciate. I have emailed the owner to advise the technician to avoid doing this in future. Did not provide a written quote, the technician only provided a verbal quote. Customers cannot see the work being completed. They drive your car to the back of the shop. I would have preferred to watch the work being completed. The shop is located in an industrial area, with nothing nearby. Most customers simply waited in the lounge area with a couch and cable TV. Protip - If I had known they were going to remove and not be able to re-install my dashcam and 407 transponder, I would recommend removing all stickers yourself prior to the appointment. For example I had a Police traceable sticker, and now that it has been removed I cannot reapply this sticker. Cost of work $350.
