She checked me in right away and gave me a room on the second floor. The first thing I noticed when walking in was there was a smell of maple syrup in the air, and it was throughout the room. After a while I didn't notice the smell anymore, but when I left for dinner and came back, I smelled it again. It wasn't offensive, just weird. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also clean, but didn't have any shampoo or conditioner, only (2) bars of soap, (2) make-up removers and lotion. This room has an in-room coffee maker and was stocked with coffees and teas and all the things you need in the morning. Overall, this is a nice hotel, and I would stay here again.

The hotel even sent me a personal text to check in during our stay -- a small touch that made a big difference. (Thanks Leslie!) The kids loved the water slide (and I appreciated that the pool was actually a reasonable temperature!). Our room was super clean, the beds were comfy, and we all slept great. Breakfast was exactly what we needed -- the classic spread with waffles we could make ourselves, plus a nice surprise: hot chocolate!
