They weren't wrong! We hired Luis to come prune our bushes which had become very overgrown. He was able to finish in a matter of a couple of hours, hauled it all away, and offered us a very decent price! Next, we hired him to remove the weeds in between the patio stones and to clean up our front yard by pruning all the plants and adding mulch. He easily accomplished the first task of removing the weeds with an all-natural product (made with high-concentrate, dog-safe vinegar). And, he arranged to pick up the mulch and was here at our house for the delivery. He worked for hours, and when he finished, Wow! It looked and looks amazing!!! He even did an extra job of mowing the side part of our yard! Luis grew up with an expert gardener father and he was always helping his dad. He started his own business when his son was born, (due to the flexible hours). It's clear that this skill runs in the family! We're going to hire him for every yard job! It's amazing how much he got done in so little time! He offered suggestions on which plants to put in areas which need to be filled in the yard. We found him very responsive to our texts and calls to set things up, responsible, attentive, easy to talk to, affordable, and focused on the details! I highly recommend him!

I has asked for a quote for the entire property, including all 4 private fenced-in areas. They replied with a quote of around $400, so I accepted and paid the fee. Then, they upsold me on the added weed-killer treatment, so I paid more for that. Then I was advised they had to come out a few days before the yard work to do the treatment, so I agreed. They came out and sprayed for weeds, but missed several spots and completely missed the private areas, however, I did not even realize they only did the common area until later. Additionally, they sprayed my neighbor's very beautiful ground cover in the parking strips in their driveway and killed the entire large patch of plants! Later that week, they came to finish the yardwork, and much to my dismay, when I returned home, they had missed the private areas. Also, I could not tell any difference in the common area from before they had allegedly done the work. Also, to my confusion, they had not touched the private areas! The yard people we paid much less money we had before did the entire property, and I mean they were out there for 5 straight hours, raking up all pine needles and hauling them away and really making the place sparkle. I looked at my RING Camera and watched them. These guys were out there for less than one hour. Didn't rake up anything and missed many weeds all over the ground! I'm not even sure what they actually did, since everything looked the same. I contacted the company and they were a little dismissive about it all. I advised them that my quote request was not just for the common area, but for the entire property, and I even showed them in the original email request. The only reply was basically, "oops, sorry", and a new quote for around $1200!!! I also informed them they killed all of my neighbor's ground cover plants, they didn't seem to care much about that, either. Additionally, we discussed the lack of actual effort put forth by the work crew, and again, just "sorry". I was going to remain silent and just chalk it up to having made a VERY BAD decision by hiring this company and apologize to my neighbors, profusely. However, just the other day, I received a bill from them after months of silence. So, I am here to warn anyone reading. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

I've never seen landscapers use a blower for so long for so little space. They come and do our…read moreneighbor's home and blow two blowers for over an hour. This is an area with few trees, as it's a new subdivision. They literally just blow everything as though they're in a trance. Mind you, this is not pleasant in our house. It smells so awful outside, you can't even breathe outside without getting nauseated. How they think this is valuable landscaping is beyond me. Additionally, they blow debris from the neighbors yard and street onto ours. If this is their version of cleaning/landscaping, I'd be shocked if they liked their own antics on the receiving end. Do the workers of this company think that people don't live next door, as they blow their blower full blast in a side yard that is 20 feet from a neighbor's kitchen? These workers think that just because they have hearing protection in, that my kids should have ear plugs in our own house? Again, what shocks me is just how long they run their blowers for. (It's usually a team of 2). Normally, people use them as a finishing tool, but this company just runs them as a primary tool and accomplishes nearly nothing in the process. (Sorry, blowing leaves onto a neighbors property isn't accomplishing anything). One star for creating a menacing environment on our street for over an hour each time with what could be done much quicker and with less impact. There are alternatives out there that won't make you be a rude neighbor (by hiring this company)

Matt came out for the consult, and I learned so much just from that; he knew the uses for practically every plant here. He resonated with my vision, and made a plan that was right for me. Then, he, Rachel and Angel came out yesterday and dug in. Honestly, it was so nerve-wracking to open my space up and trust. I left for my day job while they were in the middle of pruning-weeding-everything-everywhere, got home after dark, then went out in my slippers and jams this morning, coffee in hand, to see what they'd done. What I beheld was like a gift, like my Garden Fairy Godmother had come and waved her wand all around my space. I literally teared up seeing the shrubs we agreed to keep carefully pruned, those slated for removal completely gone, invasives removed, and cuttings carefully laid out as mulch or to create new walkways. Ask to speak to clients who have installs at least two years old to see how things have held up. I wish I had done that. Based on my experience, I would steer clear of irrigation work, maintenance plans, water features. Look at every plant and whether it's appropriate for your space and needs. Confidence is not competence.
