I have been coming to these ladies for years, since they were located in Milton.
I felt like we had a good rapport. They would always ask about how my friends and family were doing when I would come in for an appointment ... but this weekend I had an accident at their salon and they have not even checked to see how I am doing.
I went on Saturday afternoon at 12:30 for a pedicure and manicure. When I got there I tried to open door, but it was stuck so I thought it was locked because of COVID or something. But Jessie was on the other side of the glass gesturing to come in and pull. She saw me struggle with the door for about 3 attempts ... I really wish she had just opened it for me. Instead she kept telling me to pull. So I pulled, much harder this time, and the door swung towards me so fast and it went over my toe. My nail almost completely ripped off and it didn't stop bleeding for 2 days.
I went to the hospital Sunday morning because I was concerned about the persistent bleeding ... the doctor said the nail bed is so damaged that I most likely will not grow a new nail back again.
I am devastated but trying to stay positive. They really need to fix their door or put up a sign that it gets stuck and to be careful.
I am really disappointed that they haven't even called to check up on me ... I thought they would care more.
So I'm dealing with being home from work this week because it's too painful to walk on. This is going to be a long healing process and I will not be back there unfortunately. read more
